PRINCIPAL’S POINT: We have officially made it through the first half of the first quarter and it has been a huge success. The first part of the year is spent establishing routines that will be used the rest of the year, collecting beginning of the year assessment data, and teaching the academic skills that will be the foundation for the remainder of the school year. Part of that data col- lection is having the students take the Fall NWEA. The results of that assessment will be coming home today. Please take the time to look over this report to see what areas your student is doing well in as well as areas where they could use more support. Then, cele- brate the successes and create an action plan to improve in areas where needed. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call your child’s teacher or myself. Have a great three day weekend! Sincerely, Lance Schnaus
