Climate and Weather The climate for

these grasslands is basically dry. 

It is rare to rain more than 100 cm a year. 

The grasslands usually have very hot summers and very cold winters.

African Plants/ Trees Acacia trees usually

have small leaves and are thorny

Umbrella Thorn Acacia.

Jackalberry Trees are also found in Africa.

Elephant grass and Switchgrass are located in this region.

Asian Plants Vine Kudzo Camellias Water lilies Cherry Blossoms Orchids and

Lotuses are some typical flowers found in Asia
