Graphite electrode is packaged by wooden cages and nipple is packaged by wooden boxes. Graphite electrode and nipple can be packaged together according to the requirements of customers. 1. Showerproof cloth should be covered to prevent the rains when transporting the electrodes.2. Be cautious not to hit the electrode when use forklift to transport the pilling-up electrodes, loading one layer at a time.3. When load and unload using cane , additional steel rope is reqired. Be sure not to lift the steel belt on the eletrode.4. The electrode should be stored in a clean, dry place. When stock in open area, showerproof cloth should be covered and pile up at most 4 layers.

5. Electrodes should be dried next to electric furnace before using, the temperature should not exceed 150℃ and within 24 hours.6. Please use specified tool to cut off steel belts around the electrode. Do NOT use the crane to cut.7. Please clean the electrode threads first before connection, then screw the nipple into one end of the electrode. Be careful not to hit the threads hard. It is not recommended to connect the nipple to the electrodes being used. 8. The compressed air free of oil and water is the only way to clean the electrode threads. Do NOT use steel brush and abrasive cloth to clean up.

9. Use rotatable elastic hook, place soft cushions under the graphite nipple to prevent the damage of threads.10. Use the compressed air free of oil and water to clean up the inside of electrodes before make the connection.11. Lift the electrode by a elastic hook, transfer to the furnace top, get right center point, move down slowly, screw gradually and fasten by loop hoop.12. Fasten using specialized calipers as per the regulations by the way of mechanical or hydraulic method.

13. The touching end of the two electrode should be screwed at a suggested torque shown in the above chart, not to press to hard or not to touch at all.14. The electrode should be held in between the two white boundary line by the holder, the touching surface of the holder and the electrode should be cleaned regularly15. In order for not breaking the electrode, do NOT put isolation block into the furnace. The working currency of the electrodes should be in accordance to the instructions of the electrode manual.16. In order for not breaking the electrode, please put the large size material at the bottom and the small size material at the top.
