stories through graphic narratives

Women from the British Bangladeshi community in Hyde are exploring their own life stories and the history of their communities through life history, cross-cultural storytelling and digital skills, as well as visits to museums and galleries. The women are then creating digital comics using photographs; drawings; and text and sound in any language.

This is a joint project between Manchester Metropolitan University and Hyde Community Action and supported by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. For more information, please contact Sarah McNicol ([email protected]; 0161 247 5104).
