PC1. Starting up of a “Championship for energy saving” in public buildings
The main activities of this pilot action are: - consolidation and expansion, with new members, of the “Local Action Group on saving and energy efficiency”, created in 2012. - training and awareness campaign on best practices in energy use,- feasibility studies to implement other technical solutions aimed to improve energy efficiency,
These are basically addressed to: . stakeholder involvement. technical knowledge and data analysis as a basis for decision making
Target groups and beneficiaries: Granollers City Council, maintenance staff of public buildings, employees who works in public buildings, users of public buildings (students, teachers, building administrators, local companies and providers, and citizens in general).

PC2. Installation of remote control systems for energy management in public buildings
The main activities of this pilot action are:- installation of smart meters in public buildings to measure decrease in use of electricity and heating, - monitoring the energy consumption of public building in order to improve the energy management, - reporting the analysis of energy consumption in different public buildings in order to decide about new public investments in energy efficiency, reduction of energy consumption, and implement solutions about abnormal consumptions o higher to the recommended ratios,
These are basically addressed to technical knowledge and data analysis as a basis for decision making.
Target groups and beneficiaries: Granollers City Council, maintenance staff of public buildings, employees who works in public buildings, users of public buildings (students, teachers, building administrators, local companies and providers, and citizens in general).

PC3. Technical and economic feasibility study on the installation of trigeneration in the form of
selfconsumption and provision of energy services
The main activities of this pilot action are:-A prospective analysis about the evolution of consumption of electricity and gas at Roca Umbert, the solutions applied to improve energy efficiency, and what part of the demand could be covered with the production of electricity, clima, hot water and heating, from trigeneration (as from gas), in order to become a building with near zero consumption. - An economic study about the feasibility of technical solutions needed (co/trigeneration plant, other) for future investments (public and private) on a selfconsumption system and the provision of energy services to the complex and its different uses.
These are basically addressed to technical knowledge and data analysis as a basis for decision making.

Local Working Group on Savings and Energy Efficiency (LWG_SEE): City Council. Created as an internal working group, focused on saving and energy efficiency in buildings and municipal facilities. It has been consolidated during 2012 and 2013. Its role will be to be the promoter, coordinator of the pilot cases of the Green Partnerships Project in Granollers, and to continue and consolidate the main actions developed in the field of saving and energy efficiency in buindings and municipal facilities. Granollers Mercat (GM): Local Economic Development Agency. Its role will be to be channel between LWG_SEE and businesses and entrepreneurs of local energy sector, promote the establishment of agreements between the public and private sector in energy saving and efficiency energy, and organize different activities with interest for this kind of stakeholdersExternal Members (EM): SMEs, external experts, institutions, regional administration, research institutes, etc. Depending on the project or activity to promote, EM will include representants of ELENA and Euronet 50/50 projects (Province of Barcelona); MARIE project (Housing Agency of Catalonia); Catalan Energy Institute; Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC); Local professional association of installers; Professional associations; local SMEs on the energy sector. Its role will be to provide expertise and experience in specific projects and actions related savings, energy efficiency and renewable energy. Also, they will collaborate on pilot cases promoted by the LWG_SEE and other activities of Green Partnership project.
