    News

If we want to know how our world appeared twothousand years ago, we have to ask the water. Ata depth of more than 2,000 meters, we can find

deep-frozen water which scientists can use to explorethe state of the environment. Russian scientists haveextracted an ice core by drilling at the Vostok stationin Central Antarctica near the magnetic South Pole at

the position 78 27 South, 106 52 East to obtaindetailed information on the properties of air and on thevegetation at the time around the birth of Christ. Theice of Antarctica conceals valuable information on thehistory of the earths climate and vegetation. The icehas trapped air bubbles, dust from the continental air, biological material, volcanic residues, cosmic particles, isotopes and other substances which were mixed withsnow and deposited. The scientists can count the annualdeposits similar to the rings of a tree. The whole ice layer at this point is 3,780 meters deep. The annual snowfall immediately freezes to form new

ice layers. The temperatures at the Russian station neverrise above minus 30C in the summer. The lowest tem-perature ever measured in the world was registered hereat Vostok minus 89.2C.

    Water

    A witness ofthe times

    The subterranean lake

The Russian scientists have also made another sensa-tional find: in 1994 they discovered a subterranean lake

under their drilling site. During their seismological scan-ning they located a lake with a length of 225 kilometers,a width of 48 kilometers and a depth of 914 meters. They estimate the age of the water in the subterraneanlake at 35 million years. The lake has been isolated fromthe rest of the world for at least the last 500,000 years. It could possibly contain bacteria and micro-organismswith unique genetics from a time in which Antarcticawas still covered with a green rainforest. The Russianscientists stopped their drilling 120 meters before pen-etrating the lake so as not to endanger this probablyunique relic of the earths history.

A valuable giftThe melted ice from the depths is not only of inter-

est to scientists, but is also an incredible form of (delete)a unique gift, albeit one which needs special care.A few very important persons were selected from aroundthe world to receive a water sample from the time ofChrists birth. They were the three presidents of thelarge Slav states of Russia, the Ukraine and Belarus; thehead of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch AlexyII; the head of the Roman Catholic Church, John PaulII; and a man with whom the Russian water scientists

share a strong bond Johann Grander. The amphorawas presented by the President of the Russian Envi-ronmental Fund, Valery Leschtschikow, at an intimateceremony in Jochberg on April 4, 2003.

The relationship between the Austrian Associa-tion for Consumer Information (VKI) and theGrander sales company U.V.O. was always a

source of conflict. The VKI refused to move from theirposition that anything unknown to science could not(delete) work and that they had to protect the publicfrom the (delete) Grander Technology. However, sincethey were not able to find anyone who wanted to beprotected, the VKI was not able to put forward anycomplaints. But the enthusiastic user reports even caused the VKI

to rethink their position over time. Their managingdirector, Hannes Spitalsky, Dipl.-Ing., finally wantedto clarify things once and for all. He suggested havingthe user reports which appeared in the Grander publica-tions examined in detail by an expert to be named byhim. U.V.O. agreed immediately after all, they hadnothing to hide.

    The expert

Spitalsky selected the university professor Dipl.-Ing.Dr. Manfred Bruck, an expert also recognized at courtas particularly impartial. Prof. Bruck worked with his

colleague, Magister Susanne Geissler, a graduate envi-ronmental technician, to test the water for more than sixmonths. He particularly wanted to know whether thestatements had actually been solicited and whether theusers stood by their statements and experience. Most ofthe users were visited personally and subjected to highlycomplex interviews.

His report of more than one hundred pages can(delete) speaks for itself. All the experience of manyyears on increased durability, lower use of chemicalsand detergents, lower germ content, gentle action onthe skin, enhanced taste, better plant growth, etc., were

    impressively confirmed.

    Study

The Viennese Professor Dipl.-Ing.Manfred Bruck, Consultant Engineerfor Technical Physics, is the authorof the present study.

The Bruck study documents the revitalizing effect ofthe (delete) Grander Technology in different areas ofapplication.

    Testing the water

The practically minded Dr. Bruck was particularlyinterested in industrial applications. Among this usergroup, scientific aspects are as a rule of prime interestand they are very critical in checking whether the goalsare reached or not! All the companies surveyed con-firmed not only the effect, but also a cost saving.

The study can be reviewed at www.grander.com.

    Conference

The Grander Technologyis gaining more and moreimportance in trade circles, particularly among plumbers. Thenumber of partners who recom-mend installing Grander devices totheir customers is increasing all thetime. Originally only three to fourtrade events had been planned for

the whole of Austria, but the de-mand from plumbers was so largethat it was decided to expand thenumber of events in Austria andalso to include conferences in Ger-many.

    Lab tests

In the first talk, DI Dr. HorstFelsch explained the basis ofthe Grander Technology to theplumbers. Felsch, who operates atest laboratory in Fieberbrunn inTyrol, was the first technician totest the Grander Technology in1993.

We often hear the argumentthat The Grander Technologymay well be successful, but wedo not know the active principleand ultimately it is a question offaith.

A huge response to the Grander congresses for plumb-

ers. The new Traveling Congress goes through all

    of Austria and Germany.

We come into contac t wi thwater most frequently in the bath-room. The Grander Technology is

very popular here.To answer this complaint, Fels-

ch presented results which wereobtained using scientifically rec-ognized test methods and whichcan be duplicated at any time.

Felsch first looks at the micro-biological effects of the GranderTechnology. Tests have shown thatthe Grander Technology modifiesthe cluster formation of the water,

which also results in bacteriologi-cal changes. The wild-type bacteriaevidently react to the conditions

changed by the Grander Technol-ogy in the form of pin-point for-mation (particularly small bacteriacolonies). This apparently resultsin a wide range of new propertiesof the water revitalized with theaid of the Grander Technology.

    Durable drinking water

It is possible with the GranderTechnology to fill drinking waterinto bottles without any additives

and to make it durable over years.Keeping drinking water fresh is

probably one of the most impor-tant tasks of our new millennium, according to Horst Felsch.

    The Grander effect

Dipl.-Ing. Johannes Larch, Headof Internal Research at Grander, ex-

plains the possibilities and bounda-ries of the Grander Technology.Water also has an immune sys-

tem which acts as a means of pro-tection against external pollutants. The internal structure of the wateris responsible for the quality of theimmune system. Structural changesresult in changes in the properties ofthe water, which means that chemi-cally identical water can have dif-ferent microbiological and physicalproperties. Furthermore, the stabili-ty of the structure plays a substantialrole. The more stable the internalstructure, the more resistant the wa-ter. This is where the special featureof Grander Technology comes intoplay: water revitalized using Grand-er Technology maintains a stablestructure and is thus absolutely in-sensitive to external influences.

To summarize: the Grander Ef-fect can be described as a qualita-tive improvement of the water by

a change to and reactivation of themicrobiological life.

    Reports of experience

The conference program isrounded off by informative filmsand by guest speakers in whichtechnicians from reputable in-dustrial companies, plumbers andother users give reports on theirpersonal experience with the vari-

ous practical uses of the GranderTechnology.

On the platform: the experts HorstFelsch and Johannes Larch with thefacilitator Heinz Schmid.

The conference participants en-joyed the informative talks andscientific reports.

    Grander Technology

in the swimming poolThe Grander Technology has a number of strengths

which pool operators can utilize in a multitude of

ways. The prime goal is to noticeably enhance the

quality of the pool water noticeably and tangibly for

    the human body.

his improvement in quality isfelt by the pool users in thefollowing manner: the water

feels soft and smooth, the burningin the eyes from the chlorine in thewater decreases, the skin does notdry out so much, the itching feltby people with sensitive skins candisappear completely, and the bodyfeels generally fresh and relaxed af-ter swimming in revitalized water.

    The quality criteria

    Swimming pools are often oper-

ated under very different conditionswith respect to the water prepara-tion. A system analysis by a Granderconsultant is therefore always nec-essary. The specialists examine theactual on-site condition before theinstallation of the Grander Technol-ogy. The dimensions of the Granderdevices to be used are selected ac-cording to the data of the wateranalysis and the conditions of theindividual pool.

    The consultants know from their

long years of experience how to setthe parameters of a swimming pooloptimally after the installation of theGrander water revitalization. The

operators are given detailed adviceand written instructions on how toachieve the ideal long-term effect.

The correct setting of the pH,the reduction of the chlorine con-

tent and a sufficient amount of freshwater are essential here. If the poolis open to the public, all statutoryrequirements must naturally also besatisfied.

The benefit for the pool opera-tor is self-evident: on the one hand, costs can be saved by the reductionof chlorine and other chemicals. However, a much more signifi-cant aspect is the image increasepositive feedback obtained fromamoung the usually surprised andsatisfied swimmers. A tangible suc-cess is more or less programmed ifthe specified framework conditionsare observed.

Theexclusive hotel can look back on along family tradition and has alwaysendeavoured to pamper its guests inevery possible manner. The GranderTechnology was installed in the in-door pool in 1999. Andrea Teufl hasnow expanded the area and installeda separate Grander Wellness Oasis.

The decision to use GranderTechnology was due to the feedbackfrom our guests. The many positivereports on the Grander water, thesoothing effect, the softness, thepleasant scent all these things ledto me to choose Grander, Teuflexplains. He also willingly admitsthat he was initially very skeptical

toward Grander. However, he hasnow experienced the positive effectsfor himself, I am really surprised. Ican no longer drink any other kindof water. I take revitalized wateralong with me on vacation, becauseI can no longer drink normal wa-ter, or I decide where I will take myvacation according to whether thehotel has Grander water or not.Andreas Teufls whole way of lifehas been changed, When you are

in constant contact with revitalizedwater, you feel better, have moreenergy, more power for the wholeday and can regenerate faster.

    Unadulterated nature inFinkenberg

Zillertal in Tyrol is one of themost attractive regions of Austria.

Vacationers can enjoy a superbholiday here no matter what thetime of year. The Stock family op-erates the 150 bed hotel, whichhas been open to guests for twentyyears, in Finkenberg in the Ziller-tal Alps Nature Reserve. Barbaraand Josef Stock (brother of theOlympic gold medalist LeonhardStock) concentrate on the sportsand wellness area. The abundanceof their guest-pampering program

ranges from a swimming pool toa sauna world and beauty area upto beauty baths, steam baths andherb baths.

It was the conviction thatwellness also depends on waterthat took Josef Stock to Grandersome ten years ago. At first, hedid not want to invest in a systemfor the whole house, but only toinstall a device for the biotope inthe garden which was choking on

algae. When the pond water clearedagain within a very short time, aGrander system was installed in the

hotel water system, including theswimming pool area, in 1997.

The guests were suddenlyver y surprised and a little aston-

ished that they no longer sufferedfrom the red-eye effect after swim-ming, the hotel manager remem-bers. But it was not really a sur-prise the amount of chemicalsin the pool had been reduced bya third.

I am one hundred percentconvinced of the effect of Grand-er, says the hotel manager andmakes revitalized water availablefor drinking in the whole hotel.Only revitalized water is used for

all treatments, baths and saunas. His guests appreciate this verymuch.

    Fssen swimming pool

A Grander water revi ta li za-tion system was installed in theFssen municipal swimming poolaround four years ago at the ini-tiative of the municipal architectand with the support of the then

mayor Wengert. There was a warof words before the system couldbe installed. Many critical voiceswere raised by those who had no

time for Grander revitalization. Acomplete waste of money was oneof the more harmless complaintsthe committed mayor was con-fronted with. But he finally wonthe day.

Hubert Kotte, a lifeguard inFssen for more than thirty years, manages the swimming team andthe swimming lessons for smallchildren. Since he spends 3 to 5hours a day in the water, he wasone of the first to notice the dif-ference after the installation.

The smell of chlorine used tofollow me down to the cellar; nowit has completely disappeared,he remembers. The competitiveswimmers, who also spend hours

training in the water, benefit fromthe fact that they no longer sufferfrom painful eye inflammations ofthe eye which are otherwise the in-evitable consequence of water witha high chlorine content. Since Hu-bert Kotte accompanies his teamall over Germany, he is familiarwith innumerable pools and so cansee the difference. In his opinion, there is no other pool which hassuch good water quality as ours

since we installed the Grander wa-ter revitalization system.

    A therapy in revitalized water

Christian Wippel is a qualifiedgardener. He has been a pool at-tendant at the Pchlarn swimming

pool in Lower Austria for threeyears. Until he changed his occu-pation, the young man had neverreally had to think about the ele-ment of water. This changed whenhe discovered how much chlorineand other cleaning agents is need-ed to keep the water of a publicswimming pool fresh over a longperiod.

As with so many water treat-ment plants, particularly old ones,

it was not easy to keep the waterin the Pchlarn pool clean. Thelarge pool has 1,500m3 of water, the kiddy pool 30m3. In August2001, in the middle of the poolseason, the filter suddenly startedto leak. This resulted in the poolbeing closed. Since our plant

was so old that it could not be

brought up to date, I suggested tomy boss, the mayor of Pchlarn, that we should install a Granderrevitalizing system, Wippel re-members. The pool was renovated

early last year in good time beforethe start of the pool season. TheGrander water revitalization sys-tem was installed, as was a drink-ing fountain, naturally also withGrander Technology. Wippel usedto watch how the pool visitorsused the fountain, They used tofill up bottles to take the revital-

ized water with them, they lovedit so much!

A number of swimmers al soenthused about the improvementsin their health. One woman told

him that her psoriasis had com-pletely disappeared; many peoplesaid how pleasant it was to nolonger have to smell the chlorine, and the painter Franz Knapp, whohad suffered a stroke, now onlycomes to the Pchlarn pool forhis therapeutic underwater exer-cises.

    Exceptional water values

The Kalsdorf pool near Graz isan adventure pool. The operatorswant to give their guests only thevery best quality. Mayor HelmuthAdam explains why the communitydecided to install a Grander waterrevitalization system, The motiva-tion was to provide our guests withthe very best. This also included theidea of using the Grander Technol-ogy which had been praised so muchin the press.

    Pool manager Fritz Edelmann

has kept a record of the importantdata for the pool, The pH shouldbe in the range between 6.9 and 7.6 ours is at a constant 7.3. The redoxvalue, which provides informationon the water quality, is at 784; thestandard is between 578 and 900.We never had values like this beforeand they have only become possi-ble with Grander Technology. Thechemical additives have naturallyalso been reduced. Even when the

backflow and the use of the water ishigh, when we have a lot of swim-mers in the pool, the water still re-mains clear and fresh much longer, the pool manager explains.

The pools and also the showers, the whirlpools, the diving pool andthe beverage water for the buffetrestaurant are also fed exclusively

    with revitalized Grander water.

    Increasing numbers

The Tyrolean community of Al-pbach has a separate committee forits indoor pool. Around a year ago,one town councillor declared hisenthusiasm for a Grander water re-vitalization system. He tried severaltimes to convince the committeeto install such as system in the pub-lic indoor pool since it would pro-vide a number of benefits. Whereassome of the other councillors weresceptical, a unanimous decision wasfinally taken mainly because theywere given a full right of return inthe event they were not satisfied. This agreement made it possible to

research the effect of the GranderTechnology sufficiently.

The installation of the Grandersystem soon become a popular sub-ject of discussion in Alpbach. Manyvisitors only came to test the specialfeatures of the revitalized Granderwater. This mouth-to-mouth propa-ganda The positive feedback spreadby word of mouth and resulted ina 15 percent increase in visitors. The swimmers were particularlyimpressed by the silkiness of thewater and by the fact that it is a lotbetter for the skin and eyes. Thebiting odour of chlorine was nolonger noticeable after a very shorttime the use of chemicals was alsoreduced in Alpbach.

    Mayor Helmuth Adam en-

thusiastically promoted theinstallation of the Granderwater revitalization system.

Itincludes a sports pool, a swimmingpool, a non-swimmers pool and akiddy pool as well as a large wa-terslide and beach volleyball courtsfor optimum recreation purposes.

The arena was completely reno-vated in 1996/1997 and equippedwith the latest technology. BrigittteVesti, the president of the Swim-

before the open-air pool wasmodernized that it should

be an absolutely environ-mentally friendly pool. In ad-

dition to installing a solar powersystem for the regulation of the wa-ter temperature, Grander water revi-talization units were installed in thewhole pool area in 2001.

    It began with a pendant

Gudrun and Ernst Kohnhaus-er own the Gasthof RestaurantSpitzwirt in Liebkoch in Styria. The restaurant has one chefshat (or star). Hectic work-ing hours, high pressure of workand the never-ending lack of sleepled to Ernst Kohnhauser trying aGrander pendant. His guests soonnoticed that the one-star chef wasa lot calmer and more relaxed. He

describes the changes as follows,My life has changed completely.I can cope with stress more easilyand my energy potential has in-

creased. Whenever my guests askwhy I am more relaxed, I showthem my Grander pendant.

He later installed a Grander wa-ter revitalization system in the cen-tral water supply of the hotel. Afterthe switch, the heat transfer of theheating system improved becausethe water got hotter faster. Apartfrom the fact that the heating wasable to be turned down, the hotel

also saves half its previous volumeof detergent used to wash the 250kilograms of tablecloths and bed-clothes a day.

The bar also profited from theconversion since the nozzles tapsnow stay clean and do not getclogged up.

However, it is the gardener whois most enthusiastic: the hotel has36 boxes of pelargoniums as deco-ration and they usually require alot of fer tilizer. The gardener no

longer has to add fertilizer and canconcentrate on the pond whichcontains 100,000 liters of waterand is now free of all algae for thethird year running. As a compari-son: before the water revitalization, six to eight buckets of algae a weekhad to taken out of the pond.

    A model corporation

The company of Messer Austria(previously Griesheim) is a highlyspecialist corporation which pro-duces various noble gases such

as nitrogen which are used in anumber of industries. Its productsare used for welding, for anestheticpurposes in the operating theaterand as inert gases.

Although the pipes had becomeclogged with algae, the companystill wanted to reduce the amountof pesticides and other chemicalsrequired to remove the algae.

For Messer Austria, the idea ofenvironmental protection is more

than just an empty phrase. This iswhy they decided to install a Grand-er water revitalization plant. AloisWagner, responsible for the areasof labour safety and environmen-tal protection, noticed the positivechanges right from the start.

The problem was, Wagnerexplains, that the algae and thelime scale in the pipes were reduc-ing the heat exchange between thelines and the cooling towers. Thecooling water was therefore also

too warm so that we naturally hadhigher energy costs.

Alois Wagner, responsiblefor environmental protectionat Messer Austria, regularlychecks the measured data.

After the instal la tion of theGrander system, the maintenancework was reduced and the conver-sion also had an effect on the over-all budget. Alois Wagner does themath, The investment amountedto around 7,805 euros. We savedaround 12,350 euros in just oneyear. Since the service costs also fellby 730 euros, the installation wasmore than amortized in only oneyear quite apart from the fact thatwe now no longer have to use any

pesticides at all, which is very posi-tive for us as an environmentallyaware corporation.

The technical data are checkedin regular measurements. The testsare carried out by independent in-stitutes and all results are recordedin writing. This means that all thepositive developments can be fol-lowed step by step. Messer Austriahas recorded such good successwith the installation of the Grander

Technology that it was discussed asa case study in the dissertation onthe Grander Technology by KlausFaissner at the Graz Technical Uni-versity.

Alois Wagner sums up, TheGrander System is a wonderfulthing and we can only recommendit to everyone.

    Grander at LKH Styria

The engineer Wolfgang Grasserwas responsible for the technicalsector of the Styria District Hospital(LKH) for many years. One day hewas confronted with a problem in

an important unit which producedsteam. Chemicals had always beenadded to the water to avoid limescale, but the deposits had becomemore and more of a problem.

We were opening the units upto remove the lime scale every twoto three months and we have 55units!

We had one man working onthis maintenance work practically24 hours a day, Grasser said. Theseexpensive units were therefore al-ways at risk of being damaged. Thehigh financial and labour costs thisincurred made Grasser start look-ing for a permanent solution.

A colleague advised him to in-

stall Grander revitalization. Grass-er was skeptical and first obtainedinformation from a responsibleconsultant and made inquiries atother companies who had alreadyinstalled Grander revitalization.

After installing the Granderdevices, Grasser summarizes, wewere able to reduce the amount ofchemicals by half, later even by 75%.The investments were amortizedwithin one year. Maintenance

work was also cut. In addition, thehard lime scale which had previ-ously had to be knocked off using ahammer at times, had now becomea soft paste which was able to berinsed off. The disappearance ofthe hard layer meant that the unitshad a service life which was twiceto four times as long.

    The Leitl Vital brick

The brickworks of the Leitl fam-

ily in Eferding, Upper Austria, hasbeen in existence for more than ahundred years and is still the mostmodern in Europe.

The healing effect of clay hasbeen known to the Leitl brick-works for generations. It is nowbeing tested as a mud pack in theGeinberg thermal spa and in Dun-gls Bio Training Hotel in Gars amKamp.

A special, vital brick system forwalls and ceilings has now been de-

veloped using this high-quality clay. The brick system is based on natureand honeycomb-like hollow spacesprovide a harmonious flow of heat, produce high stability and generatea well-balanced room climate.

Our motivation for installingGrander Technology in the brick-works was that we wanted to givethe bricks a design which was asvital as possible and we consideredeverything to make a brick which

would offer people the best possibleresults, Martin Leitl explains.

The Leitl R&D team workedaccording to the motto Only thebest is good enough for the LeitlVital brick, and looked closely atthe properties of water.

At the start of the productionprocess, the clay is mixed withwater so that it becomes malle-able and easy to shape. When the

Grander Technology was used, itbecame clear that the clay/watermixture was much more malleable

and more uniform, which was dueto the lower surface tension of thewater revitalized with Grander.

Even when the brick is dried andfired, the positive effect of the revi-talized water is not lost - for water isenergy, the clay is energy and theseenergies are also transferred in themixed and molded state. That is:the water transmits the energy tothe clay and it is stored in this.

    The measurements we have

made up to now confirm that apositive radiation takes place. Wehave also heard from people wholive in the houses made with Vitalbricks who confirm that the roomclimate is special, more harmoni-ous, confirms a happy Leitl.

Once the Grander unit had beeninstalled, all contamination fell dra-matically: the pumps worked moreefficiently and more quietly; therust which had always formed onthe metal roof of the cooling towerdisappeared over time; the cool-ing lamellas no longer had to be

cleaned; algae and lime scale fell topractically zero; there was no corro-sion on can lids or jar tops; and theunits only had to be cleaned everysix to eight weeks instead of everytwo to three.

Johann Uzsoky has also donethe math: The savings in this areaalone amount to 6,900 euros a year

(reduced chemical and fresh waterconsumption, less maintenancework). Energy consumption hasbeen reduced by 20 percent. Thecosts for the unit and its installationare negligible when compared towhat we have saved since then.

The water samples which aretaken regularly and then evaluated, confirm Uzsokys positive experi-ence. The company was includedin Klaus Faissners dissertation onwater revitalized by Grander.

    A quantum leap

The Bavarian company of Kugel-mann produces cleaning machineryfor streets, paths and park areas. Alot of water is used in the manufac-turing of metal parts as it is neces-sary have all the grease removed.

Before the factory switched toGrander, the systems were filledwith normal water and preservatives

were added to ensure resistance tobacteria and to prevent the waterfrom becoming stale. The waterhad to be drained and disposed ofevery three months since it couldno longer be used and had a truly

bad smell, not to mention a greatnumber of coli bacteria.

As the company boss had already

installed a Grander revitalizationunit in his own home, he decidedto convert the factory as well.

After the instal la tion in thephosphatization plants, the follow-ing parameters were recorded, Weno longer have any bacteria in thewater and it has had to be replacedfor the first time after seven months.

The disposal costs have halved, weno longer need any preservatives orother chemical additives and so wehelp the environment. We thereforesave power, water and chemicalsthanks to Grander.

Josef Kugelmann also points outthe cost savings, The waste waterdisposal is around 850 euros. Beforethe installation, we had to disposeof the water four times a year, nowonly twice a year so that I savehalf the costs. I can only recom-mend the Grander Technology toevery company faced with the sameproblem as we had. Kugelmann is

confident that he has made the rightdecision.

    The high-rise pioneer

The Innsbruck Dreiknig es-tate is made up of three residentialbuildings with fifty condos eachand for four years its administra-tion has been in the hands of KarlStemmberger who also looks afterthe central heating.

A friend advised him to installa Grander water revitalizer. It wasnot easy to convince fifty condoowners of this idea. Some werefamiliar with the Grander Tech-

nology, some were sceptical andothers knew nothing about it. Fi-nally a decision was made and thefirst Grander unit was installed atReichenauerstrasse 100.

Karl Stemmberger kept aneye on the energy consumption.

Al though al l thr ee res identi albuildings had the same consump-tion behaviour, the Granderbuilding was using around tenpercent less energy than in theprevious year.

This impressive result alsoconvinced the residents at Burk-ert-Breitnerstrasse 13 to installa Grander device. The initiator,

Aloi s Marta , was famili ar wi ththe name of Grander from a stay

at a sanatorium. I can practicallydrink no other water since gettingused to Grander, he enthuses. In addition, we need a lot lessenergy for the heating because thespecific thermal value is lower.

    Another resident, Heinz We-

ber, is delighted with his cleantiles and faucets in his bathroom. The water is a lot softer andthere is no more residue on thetiles and the faucets which we hadactually planned to replace now

    work perfectly again.

ThePCBs are used in mobile phonesand in automobiles and havebecome indispensable in the mo-bile telecommunications sector.Because environmental protec-tion is seen as just as importantas the quality of the products inthe corporate philosophy of thecompany, the factory in Leobenalso decided to install GranderTechnology.

    The effects of the conversion

can be seen particularly well inthe cooling towers and in thecooling of the coolant water inthe air conditioning. Press officerReinhold Oblak:

The water we normally re-quire of 20 to 25 degrees Celsiusis an ideal habitat for bacteria.Chemicals are usually added toprevent bacteria from forming.

and the investment was amortizedin less than a year.

As always, when new paths aretaken, skeptics were in the major-ity at the start. But it is above allthose companies who have tokeep a close eye on expenditure

and who place importance ona clean image who keep veryexact records and make tests tocheck whether a leap into the darkhas produced the desired resultsor not.

This is exactly what AT&Sdid. The dramatic reduction inthe use of chemicals as a result ofthe water being revitalized usingGrander again documents howmuch resources and budgets canprofit from the Grander Technol-ogy. The correctness of our deci-sion was confirmed in all aspects,is how Reinhold Oblak sums upthe situation.

wa ter re vi ta li ze r was in st al ledsome two years ago, he was morethan skeptical. But the resultsconvinced him otherwise, Wehad the same washing resultseven though we had cut back onadditives. The water suddenly hadmore cleaning power.

As an additional effect, it wasfound that the walls of the car-

wash were less af fected by limescale than before. The aggressivecleaning agents previously used

were able to be replaced by moregentle, less damaging ones.

Peter Christianis reservationswere completely dissipated by thefact that the annual servicing ofthe steam jet was able to be dis-continued. The technician toldme that there was no soot in theboiler so that it was not necessaryto clean it.

Since the company of Wi-esenthal is very committed to en-

vironmental protection, they keptrecords of the consumption and ofthe changes after the installationof Grander. We have an environ-mental team that keeps detailed

records of the data and figures. We have saved 50% on chemicals. When you consider that we washaround 12,000 cars a year here, that is a huge amount.

    Revitalized Gasteiner

It is an old saying that Onlywhen water has covered its under-ground path, past minerals andores, and has come to the surfaceof its own free will is it readyand of the highest quality. Thisrequirement is met to perfectionby Gasteiner mineral water. It isnot pumped out of the ground, but bubbles up from the ancientstones of the High Tauern nationalpark.

Managing Director Dr. HubertMattersdorfer has an open ear foreverything to do with water sothat it was only a question of timebefore he came across JohannGrander. A loft extension gave him

the chance to make his own trials:only a few weeks after the instal-lation, the balcony plants and the

wild wine vines literally ran wild.In addition, Hubert Mattersdorferfelt and tasted a clear improvementin taste.

The next step was only logi-cal the water revitalization wastested in the Gasteiner bottle-fill-ing plant. The result: the carbondioxide bubbles were finer and the

water softer, more palatable. In a further step, the wholeproduction was revitalized. Therevitalization was supposed to be

kept secret so that confidentialitywas agreed with Grander Sa les the competition does not haveto know everything. But restau-rant owners soon started askingabout the positive change to theGasteiner water. Hubert Mat-tersdorfer, That was the point

where we took the offensive withrespect to the Grander Technologyand made the symbiosis betweenGasteiner and Grander public.

    Benefiting the environment

The textile care company Kochin Metzingen in Germany cleansthe incredible amount of eight toten thousand kilograms of laundrya day. Their customers include care

homes, clinics, hotels and restau-rants. The wash usually requiresan aggressive detergent because itis often very dirty and difficult toclean. Benedikt Sutter is thereforeinterested in everything whichhelps him get his washing spot-lessly clean.

He first became acquaintedwith the Grander Technology athome. His wife thought it was allhumbug. But he convinced her tolet him install a water revitalizer athome to see whether there was anydifference in the laundry. After on-ly a few loads, Mrs. Sutter reducedthe amount of detergent becauseher usual amount produced toomuch foam.

After this successful test, theGrander Technology was also in-stalled in the company, with theresult that the amounts of basicdetergent were reduced by around15 percent.

The unit paid for itself aftersix months. I am saving around12,000 euros a year, quite apartfrom the fact that the laundryis now a lot softer and cleaner.Based on this experience, BenediktSutter recommends every laundryto use Grander water revitaliza-tion even though I compete withthem. But it benefits the environ-ment and so us all.

As buzzy as a beeIn Mariazell the tradition of

making gingerbread has been fol-lowed very successfully since 1655.The best proof of this is the fam-ily company of Pirker which wasfounded in 1800. Matthias and

Waltraud Pirker export their gin-gerbread, spirits and wax productsall over the world.

They use 60 metric tons ofbees honey a year and process it

into 150 metric tons of dough tomake more than 60 different kindsof gingerbread.

The raw dough is stored inlarge barrels for half a year. Theself-fermentation which takes placethere is very important in keepingthe gingerbread soft.

Matthias Pirker sees the highquality of his products as a resultof the use of revitalized water. Iheard about it at a talk around

ten years ago, he reports, I im-mediately decided to have a waterrevitalization system installed inmy company.

Accord ing to the gues ts ofPirkers coffee shop, they servethe best coffee in town. Those

who prefer something strongerenthuse about the smooth tasteof the spirits, liqueurs and herbschnaps. Since the investment atthat time has paid itself back manytimes, a Grander water revitaliza-tion system is also being installedin the Hotel Goldener Lwe.

    Bacteria count falls to zero

The company of OC nearMunich is a specialist for copy-ing and printing. Axel Brck, responsible for building manage-ment and supply engineering, hadbeen trying for years to cope with

the water problems. ParticularlyHall 52 was affected. We hold fairsand events here, but at irregularintervals so that the water may beleft still for a week or more andit is during these periods that thestandstill bacteria from.

To cope with these problems, the pipes were first rinsed regularly

with fresh water which allowed the

bacteria count to be cut to zeroagain. However this was still notthe ideal for Axel Brck. Whilelooking for a long-term solution,he came across the Grander waterrevitalization.

Internal records document thefollowing facts: In February 2001,the bacteria count was 3240 colo-ny forming units; in March, afterrinsing with fresh water, the valuesfell, only to rise again in April. The

Grander Technology was installedin May; in June and July the valuesonly increased slightly; from Au-gust they fell constantly to zeroand have remained there ever since. We have no more problems withbacteria and thats what counts, says Axel Brck proudly.

Many people know the feel-ing the fingers swell so muchin summer that rings can onlybe removed with difficulty anda lot of soapy water and the feetswell up so that shoes become tootight. Cold towels and putting thefeet up seem to be the only way togain relief. However, horses canalso suffer from this problem, asBirgit Minnich from the Haid-

    Beating gout

Alois Osswald was one of themany people who suffer fromgout. He has had this diseasefor 35 years. It occurred insidi-ously in painful bursts. Over time, practically all his joints became in-flamed, were stiff and painful. Theattacks occurred every 14 days. Inthe last few years, Mr. Osswald hasbeen forced to use crutches.

Treatment with cortisonepreparations and different home-made remedies no longer had any

result and Alois Osswald, who hadbeen unemployed for many yearsand who was practically bed-rid-den, was physically and mentallyat his wits end.

In August 1999, a friend whohad had a Grander revitalizer in-stalled in her water supply began

to give him revitalized water todrink every day. And since theinvalid liked to take a bath be-cause the heat made him feel

good, after a talk with a Granderconsultant, the family also had arevitalizer installed. One day, hediscovered that the bathwater feltsoft and silky, like a bath oil. Buthis wife had only run the bath

with water revitalized water. From then on everything

started to get better. The dailydrinking and bathing improvedhis physical well-being so muchthat Alois Osswald was able to

go for a walk for the first timein a year. But the best thing wasthat the gout attacks became lesscommon and finally stopped al-together.

Two months later, he mowedthe lawn himself for the firsttime in years. The joint swell-ing reduced, the medication wasstopped and today Alois Osswaldcan even go for medium toursin the mountains and go hiking

things he could last do 35 yearsago. It might sound like a mira-cle, but it is not its the revital-ized water!

    Diabetes under control

Hans Weissmantel is 67 yearsold and has suffered from diabetesfor almost twenty years a disease

which is incurable and can also behereditary. To keep the side ef-fects (including high blood pres-

sure, ocular and renal problems, nervous disorders) as low aspossible, the patients must keepto a strict diet, take insulin dailyand have regular check-ups. It isparticularly important to have ahigh liquid intake preferably ofpure water.

This was the everyday routineof the retired engineer until heheard from a friend that not all

water was the same. After having

a Grander revitalizer unit installedin February 2001, he noticeda gradual improvement in his

    health month by month whichwas expressed by the followingfindings after one year: the cir-culation in his legs was excellent;

his blood pressure was normal andstable; his blood sugar no longerfluctuated between a high and a

low value; and his physical well-being improved considerably. The

pensioner only slowly realized theconnection between his healthand the daily drinking of revital-ized water. The secondary effectsof diabetes fell, I feel a lot betterand can move my toes again andfeel the circulation. If his bloodsugar falls, he dissolves his glucosein revitalized water because the ef-fect is three times faster.

Today, I would say thatGrander revitalized water can be

recommended to every diabetic. My diabetic grandchild is alreadygrowing up with it.

    Fresh fish

The fish processing companySea Products AS has its head-quarters in Hellandshamm, 50kilometers from lesund on Nor-

ways west coast. This region is theleader in the catching, processingand export of whitefish, cod andfarmed salmon.

Despite her skepticism, themanager, Trude A. Johnsen, begana test to see whether the Grander

water revitalization is also effectivein a fish production facility.

    The trial series was be-gun with light-saltedcod. The con-trol group wasp r o c e s s ed

the test group with Grander re-vitalized water. The key questionof this experiment was: Can theGrander Technology extend the

storage life of the fish? The labtests were carried out in the of-ficial state lab in lesund.

The fish in the control groupwere no longer suitable for con-sumption after two weeks becausethey contained too many bacte-ria. The fish treated with GranderTechnology remained fresh for four

weeks and had a bacteria count atthis point which was a thou-

sand times lower thanthat of the control

    group. The resultwas so clear

In addition, a smaller test wascarried out with herring to check

whether the Grander Technol -ogy would also be effective withseawater. The test was carried out

with round herring and fish fillet. The results were just as astound-ing here. The herring treated innormal seawater had ten times thebacteria count of those treated

with Grander. These clear successes led to

Unipro Vest AS commissioningfurther research at an independentresearch institute. It is already as-sumed that the use of the Grander

water revitalization wil l improvethe economic results of the Nor-

    wegian fish industry in future.

A Norwegian fish company con-firms that the storage of fish can be

    extended using revitalized water.

    Lower energy costs

A two-hour car drive to thenorth east of the Norwegian capi-tal of Oslo is the Raufoss PoolCountry, which is very popu-lar among children and is one ofNorways largest adventure pools.Recently a Grander unit was in-stalled in the access line and four

revitalization cylinders were put inthe filter and settling tank. The reasons for the installa-

tion was the hope of reducing theenergy requirements which makeup the larger part of the operat-ing costs for swimming pools. Thetechnical manager Nina Sell says,Pools generally have very highcosts which are largely due to thepower consumption. We can influ-ence our profitability only by mini-mizing costs and mainly by cutting

power costs. For our basic require-ments we have a fixed amount ofpower from the utility suppliers;in peak periods where our require-ments increase, we have to buyenergy at very high prices fromthe free market. Since the instal-lation of the Grander Technologyour peak power requirements havefallen considerably.

As the guests also said that thewater in the pools was warmer,

we were also able to reduce theheating temperature. We areconfident that the heat transferhas also been decisively improved.

The parameters of visitor frequen-cy, peak periods, etc. were thesame as in the comparison periodin the previous years. The powerconsumption, however, has fallenconsiderably. The main problems

with which the adventure poolhad been confronted for many

years was solved with the help ofGrander Technology.

Only a few days after the in-stallation, Nina Sells assistantfound that the smell of chlorinein the pool was a lot less intense;the swimmers reported a pleasantfeeling on the skin and the kidsno longer complained about red

    eyes.

    Highest harvest

When the Finnish market gar-den Husula Garden was foundedthirty years ago, it was primarilyintended for the growing of let-tuce. While other produce such asparsley, chives and dill was takeninto the range, lettuce has re-mained the main produce.

Light and water are the mostimportant resources for the suc-cessful management of glasshousesand market gardens. The climaticconditions of northern Europeonly provide these two to a lim-ited extent. This affects not onlythe quality of the products, butalso the yield more than enoughreason to try anything to improveplant growth.

Manager Heikki Jakobssonhad a Grander water revitaliza-

tion unit installed some time ago,I now have lettuce which has en-

joyed natura l light and Granderwater for a month. The leaves are

The energy requirements arethe largest cost factor for pools.Grander Technology helps cut

very thick and the lettuce is verytasty. It not only looks good, italso keeps longer. The improvedgrowth is the result of strong,

well-developed roots. Many yearsof experience show that the useof the Grander Technology canincrease the yield by around tenpercent. Heikki Jakobsson wasable to record an even better yield,

We have recorded results whichare much higher than that. In theglasshouse where we grow pars-ley, it is more than 20 years since

we last had such a healthy crop inspring. It is enormous.

Peter Eugen Moll has a farm inSo Jos dos Campos in the stateof So Paulo in Brazil. Some yearsago, he founded a company for

the growing of ornamental plantswhich he sells at the regional mar-ket. He needed a reliable source ofhealthy water for this. Since Pe-ter Moll was not sure whether his

water was really of good quality,he decided to use the water fromthe lake which formed part of hisproperty. The only problem was

that the lake water was biologi-cally dead. The question was howto activate it.

He had heard of Granderten years earlier. When he foundout that the technology was alsoavailable in Brazil, he had a re-

    vitalization device instal led after

the circulation pump of the lake. The regeneration process was ob-

vious to everyone. The previouslymilky brown, malodorous waterreturned to its original clarity andthe strong algae growth was com-pletely stopped. The lake recov-ered to such an extent that PeterMoll is now able to breed fish in

it. A constantly increasing varietyof plants has developed on the

    banks.Three months after the in-

stallation of the Grander system,Peter Moll now waters the plantsin his three glasshouses only with

water from the lake. Since then, they grow evenly and strongly. The leaves are wider, bigger, verydark and intensely green and areno longer prone to disease de-spite the reduction in fertilizersand pesticides. Customers report

that the plants survive repottingmuch easier and seem to have agreater vitality. Peter Moll has thusachieved two things at once therevitalization of his lake and im-proved plant growth which natu-rally also profit company sales.

After the lake revitalization,Peter Moll only waters his

    vegetables with his ownwater.

A biologically dead lake isbrought back to life by theGrander Technology.

    Grander steam

The owners of the Braziliantextile company Blazer Brazil nearSo Paolo, which produces menssuits, found the solution for all theproblems they had had for many

years in the Grander water revitali-zation system.

They needed to eliminate thefollowing difficulties: the automat-ic ironing machines, which have acontinuous supply of steam, hadto be replaced almost monthly;the mangles showed encrustationsand corrosion. To keep the waterin the tank clean, chemicals had tobe added, but only two days later, the water was again discolouredand had lost its transparency. Thepoor water quality meant thatalmost one hundred automaticsteam irons had to be replacedover the past four years an enor-mous strain on the budget in thelong term.

At a textile equipment fair inGermany, the boss of the com-pany bought a modern systemof steam mangles and automaticsteam irons which were intendedto form the core of production in

future. To prevent this investmentfrom damage due to poor water, the owners also decided to installand test a Grander water revitaliza-tion system.

One unit was installed in the

home, a second, larger one in thefactory. One of the first observa-tions was that no sediments weredeposited in the bathroom. Inthe factory, the first step was toreduce the chemicals in the tank.

The addition of chemicals to theheating system was stopped imme-diately. The system has now beenrunning for two years without anychemicals. The water in the tank

was so clear that they could seethe bottom of the tank. In thisshort time practically all the usualmaintenance costs were dispensed

with. For instance, the inner wallsof the boilers no longer had to becleaned. The water drained outof the boilers at the end of each

working day is now clear after afirst waste water flow. This con-firms that there are no longer anyresidues in the boilers. A further

important finding was that nosigns of corrosion were visible atthe surface of the iron faces.

The Grander Technology hastherefore indisputably changedthe water quality in the company. The final comment of the boss, Ihave enormous savings in mainte-nance costs. The Grander Systempaid its way very fast and defi-nitely provides an improvementin the quality of work and life in

    my company.

If the irons are not filled withabsolutely clear water, seriouspermanent damage can occur.

The Grander Technology isalso used more and more in

    companies which need waterin Brazil.

    Testimonial fromVera Peiffer

Vera Peiffer is a health kinesiolo-

gist who works from her practice in

Londons Harley Street and from Sur-

biton in Surrey. She specialises in test-

ing hair and nail samples to establish

which supplements her clients need to

maintain or restore health. Vera is an

    international speaker and the author

of a great number of books, amongst

    them Total Stress Relief, Positively

    Fearless and Positive Thinking.

    Vera says:

    Im currently going through

the menopause. I used to have hot

flushes every half hour, day and night, which was very distressing. As a ki-

nesiologist, I wanted to treat myself

    with natural supplements rather than

with artificial hormones. I found that

    there were some homeopathic rem-

edies that were appropriate for my

condition, but the problem was that

they came as sugar or lactose pillules,

none of which I currently tolerate.

I therefore used Grander blue wa-

ter as a basis and prepared it radioni-

cally as a homeopathic remedy. Sincetaking this modified Grander water, I

have not had any menopausal symp-

toms at all. Its a great relief!

I have also had the Grander water

purifying system installed in my house

which has brought down my central

heating bills. It seems that with the

Grander purified water in the radia-

tors, they become a lot hotter on a

lower setting. My plumber thought it

was all a lot of nonsense, but it really

    does work.

    My clients also report good

    results with pure or homeopathi-

    cally modified Grander blue water.

Grander blue water comes up as an

    appropriate supplement quite regular-

ly when I test hair samples. My client

Fiona wrote to me: Ive always had

very painful periods, but since taking

Grander blue water, I have had thefirst painfree period in years. Another

client, Claire, reported that since tak-

ing Grander blue water, she had felt

    a lot less anxious.

    Testimonial fromNicholas Jones

My water supply is a spring com-

ing out of the mountainside. It has

    always been delicious although some-

times tainted by voles and frogs, par-ticularly in the dry summer months

when they used to look for moisture

    and fall in the tank.

Recently I upgraded to a large

vole free tank, a sealed unit. It has

a small double pond rod serving a

900 litre capacity. Sometimes I wont

draw water for weeks at a time and

the drink when I use the water after

an absence reminds me that the planet

can heal itself; it is hugely potent and

vibrant with life, ancient and fresh,

round tasting and succulent. My first

    shower with the Granderised water

switched me from a negative mood to

a positive mood ; that simple and that

extraordinary. I was amazed. It felt

like my neural pathways had a sym-

pathetic response to the clean polarity

    of the water.

    Testimonial fromDilys Gannon-Bone

I first became interested in Grand-er after buying a bottle of the Blue

Water at a health seminar. I took this

home and placed not only my filtered

water but other produce such as olive

oil and wine next to the bottle. I was

    extremely impressed by the change

of quality in the water, there was a

smoother and softer taste to it. I

    had especially bought poorer quality

oil and wine to see what would hap-

pen. The harshness of the olive oil

changed into a much softer and less

firey quality and the wine which had

    been sharp, mellowed.

I then applied the Flexi-unit to

my shower and was amazed to find

how energized I felt following my

shower each day. Like Topsy my col-

lection grew and I decided to have all

of the water entering the flat passing

through a Grander House Unit. Not

only have I had exciting showers in

the morning, but I have found that

my washing is softer and fluffier.

    I also have a Q-experience and

the detox is much improved with the

    softer energized water provided by

    Grander.

    Favourably impressed with the

revitalisation of all the water in my

    flat I have now installed a Flexi-unit

onto the water filter I use in my Co-

    lonic Hydrotherapy treatment room

    Interview

Your institute has been in-vestigating the Grander Tech-nology for six years. What can

you tell us about it?When we began to investigate

the technology of Johann Grand-er in 1997, we already had aroundtwenty years of experience in theinvestigation of different non-tra-ditional water technologies wherethe structure of water is changed.

These include treatments at lowor high temperatures, cavitationimpulses, influences with coldplasma, laser radiation, low and

high voltage discharges, electro-chemical, magnetic, electromag-netic treatments and many, manymore. We do not know how Jo-hann Grander treats the water. But we do know one thing withcertainty: in six years of in-depthinvestigations on micro-organ-isms, animals and humans, wehave not been able to find onesingle negative effect.

We began our investigationson micro-organisms because theyoften react very sensitively to the

water structure. Overal l, we test-

ed eleven groups of pathogenicbacteria and quasi-pathogenicbacteria such as salmonella. Theeffect of the Grander Technologyis to accelerate the dying off ofthese bacteria, which we see as the

result of a change in the environ-ment in the water. In addition,

we were able to find an increasedself-cleansing effect and micro-biological stability.

Many waterworks use sur-face water for the production ofdrinking water. It often containsminute amounts of organic com-pounds which are dissolved inthe water. When disinfected withchlorine, so-called chlorinated

hydrocarbons are created dan-gerous compounds because theyhave an effect which can damagethe genetic make-up or have a

carcinogenic effect. We were in-terested in what happens when

we treat water which we know tohave a mutagenic effect with the

Grander Technology. We wereable to clearly find in a number oftrials with different types of waterthat the influence of the Granderinformation technology is to sig-nificantly reduce this effect.

What trials were carried out?We recently completed an in-

vestigation series on people un-der strict scientific principles. Wecombined traditional methods ofcell analysis with the latest, non-

traditional diagnostic techniques. The different groups were givendifferent types of water to drinkand nobody knew which one theyhad just drunk.

The first thing we noticed wasthat there was an improvementin the gastro-intestinal tract afteronly a few weeks. Even more pro-nounced were the positive resultsof the examinations of the smearsof the mucous membranes of thenose and mouth whose cells were

studied. You are go ing to a WHO

meeting in Geneva as a delegateof the Russian Health Minis-try.

Yes. The concluding sessionof the workgroup for the prepa-ration of the Guidelines for thequality control of drinking wateris being held there. We that isan international group of experts meet every ten years to revise

these guidelines. Generally, theexperience of the last ten yearsshould always flow into the newguidelines.

Will you introduce newknowledge and ideas?

Ye s, we have some pointswhich we would like to put for-ward for discussion. Above all, itwill be possible in this meeting tofamiliarize delegates from othercountries with our findings. Thisis essentially the formation of thevery damaging organic chlorin-ated hydrocarbons when drinkingwater is disinfected using chlo-rine. We will demand a lot moreresearch into a specific section of

these compounds so that thresh-olds and standards can also be setfor these substances.

In more than twenty years ofresearch, we have come to theconviction that physical parametersmust also be included in the qual-ity control of drinking water sincethey play a very important role for

the health. The bacteriologicalstability of drinking water is veryimportant. It is not so difficult forwater from the faucet because the

time from the preparation to con-sumption usually only fluctuatesfrom between a few hours up toa few days. It is somewhat more

difficult for bottled water. A pe-riod of several months or even ofa year or more often passes before

consumption. It is also necessaryto revise the regulations here.

ining and the subsequentprocesses to extract thefine metal from the ore

require a lot of water. The find-ings of the University of Graz thatthe Grander Technology changeswaters structure and reduces itssurface tension gave the impetus tomake some lab trials.

    Why use Grander in mining?

When we look at the history ofthe earth, we see that water playsan important role in all geologi-

cal processes. Many things wouldbe impossible without water andwater also plays a key role in vul-canology, erosion and sediment

transport. It is captured in certainminerals anhydrite becomes

gypsum, others are oxidized, bor-nite becomes malachite, azurite oratakamite.

Developing a site is impos-sible without water as a solventand a transportation aid, espe-cially with secondary deposits. Ittherefore seems reasonable to at-tach the same large importance asin site development to the metalextraction. The observation thatthe penetration of melted snow

and ice into the well systems hasan influence on the metallurgicprocesses is being taken more andmore seriously.

    The mines

Chile can look back on a centu-ry-long tradition in mining. Morethan 40 percent of the worlds

known copper reserves can befound in Chile, with the largestdeposits being in Chuquicamata

(surface mining) and El Teniente(sub-surface mining).

    Copper sulfides and copper ox-

ides are extracted and processed inthe mines Chuquicamata, Radomi-ro Tomic and Mina Sur of DivisinCodelco Norte of the state-owned

copper mining company Codelco. The sulfides are concentrated in

    flotation plants, melted and elec-

trically refined to product cath-odes of metallic copper of a high

degree of purity. The work in thisproduction is directed to increase

the copper yield by using GranderTechnology.

The oxides are leached usingsulfuric acid. The lye is furtherconcentrated using solvents and

the copper is precipitated to cath-odes by electrolysis. In this case,

the use of the Grander Technologyis intended to improve the copper

yield from the minerals (the sol-vents of the leaching process areactivated).

    First trials

The trials began in 2001 in Chileand were carried out by Tulio ArayaLuco, one of the most experiencedscientists in extraction metallurgy. He found not only an increased

yield, but also a considerable accel-eration in the process kinetics.

At the same time, the fi rs tGrander ECO Cat tests were beingcarried out in the lime mine of Ce-mento Meln. The savings in fuelin mining operations where trans-portation represents a huge cost fac-tor are of decisive importance. Airpollution is also a big problem insub-surface mining.

In a first trial with a low-floordump truck, diesel savings of 5%were found af ter fi ve days andof 7.5% in the first month. Thecarbon monoxide emissions fell

by 80% (low revs) and 77% (highrevs) and those of nitrogen oxideby 83% and 35%. These resultsgave rise to the decision to equipall heavy machinery with dieselengines with Grander ECO Cats even the gigantic 2,700 horse-power skip trucks with a load ca-pacity of more than 300 metrictons which are used for mineraltransports.

    The results

The results of the lab trials inthe sector of flotation and soak-age leaching looked good so that

pilot trials were begun in August2002. Around 2,000 metric tonswere treated with revitalization inflotation and around 5 metric tonsin soaking leaching.

Progress was also found in theleaching of sulfide residues fromdumps and chutes using bacteriawhich oxidize iron and sulfur inacid solutions and so increase thekinetics of the copper yield. Fur-ther trials will show whether theGrander Technology will also resultin increased profitability and envi-ronmental compatibility here.

The results are being eagerlyawaited as to whether the GranderTechnology will also produce ben-efits in any other areas which havenot yet been tested such as organicsolvent extraction, electrolysis, wa-ter reclamation and particularly inthe environmental field.

    Discoveries

The 21st century will finally put paid to the no-tion that water is no more than the chemical formulaH2O. The past century was the century in whichchemistry led the investigation of water. This centurywill give physics the chance to understand the solu-tion to waters secret.

The memoryDoes water have a memory? Can it store infor-

mation and is it also able to reproduce this storedinformation and to pass it on? Can the memory ofwater be compared to the human memory?

The human memory stores and deletes informa-tion in a more emotional way depending on its im-portance or on the impression (in the truest senseof the word) the information made on the personin question.

The memory of water, in contrast, works in a morerational manner. It stores all the information it canobtain in an emotion-free and precise manner, goodor bad, similar perhaps to a tape recorder which canrecord physical vibrations and can reproduce them

as often as is wanted without the originally storedinformation being changed, reduced or lost.

The storage location and the exact procedure ofthe storage process in water are only just being un-derstood by science and are only known in theory.

Empirical, that is systematic, checks of known ef-fects go much further. For instance, we know todaythat the complex inner structure of the water is deci-sive for its properties. These different properties, forexample, determine the length of time water remainsfresh, the development conditions for micro-organ-isms in the water and ultimately also how agreeable

and compatible water is for all life forms (not least forhumans) with which water enters into a symbiosis. These important properties which are actually

naturally present in all water are largely lost todaydue to external influences.

The structureThe structure of the water is decisive for all living

organisms which need water. It is the requirement forimportant control procedures in the organism suchas proper growth.

There are a number of influences on water. Thesun, the moon and the whole universe are part ofa natural vibration process with the earth and alsocommunicate with the element of water.

Ar ti ficial ly induced vibrat ions which are alsoregistered by the water are more of a problem. The inner structure of the water can be disturbed bytechnical emissions from different sources (includingcell phone transmitters, radio transmitters, satellitetransmissions, power transmission lines and manyothers).
