WELCOME MESSAGE WELCOME MESSAGE

I want to extend a warm and hearty welcome to all the new students of the Academic Year 2021-2022.

Our vision is to prepare dynamic and caring citizens to meet the challenges of a global society while retaining their traditional values. This institution believes in setting specific goals to achieve excellence in the fields of learning and of life. The knowledge and skills we impart here will enable the students to give back to society and the nation. Our positive and stimulating environment will motivate students to strive towards eminence.

In this college, we believe that education means lifelong learning and knowledge of what it takes to be a responsible global citizen. We aim to accelerate our students’ overall development and make them suitable for playing a part in an all-inclusive society.

H.K. ChaudharyChairman, Kalyan Bharti Trust

Beloved Students

I welcome you all to our college, comprising a vibrant learning community. We believe that education is a journey from darkness to light. Thus we pray: “Asatoma Sadgamaya, Tamaso ma Jyotirgamaya...”

Extra-ordinary teachers, a sophisticated, enriched library, modern laboratories with all instruments and equipments, and above all, a congenial atmosphere have transformed our college into a “College with a difference.” However, we believe that we have “miles to go before (we) sleep”.

It is your duty to fulfil the dream of Swamiji, who put emphasis on “man-making and character-building education.” This requires devotion and dedication and a determined effort to realize the vision of our trustee members who want to see in you dynamic and caring citizens who will meet all challenges.

You must not forget that even after 70 years of independence, many are living in abject poverty. Swamiji inspired us by his fiery utterances, “May I be born again and again and suffer thousands of miseries so that I may worship the only God that exists, the only God I believe in – the sum total of all souls.”

I have firm faith that with your immense potentialities, you can prove to the world that you are properly educated in the truest sense of the term.

Prof. Amitava Ghose Teacher-In-Charge, The Heritage College

I am extremely happy to welcome you all to The Heritage College.

The Heritage College started its journey with an aim to provide holistic education to its students. We aspire to give you a pleasant learning experience during the most important period of your life. A new year ushers in new opportunities to learn and new avenues to discover. Situated amidst lush green surroundings, the College will inspire and uplift you in all your attempts to grow personally and academically.

At Heritage, we do not impart education limited to earning points or Grades but that which, in totality, shapes the learner into a confident adult ready to take the world and carve out their individual identity.

So gear up to explore a whole new world of possibilities!

Sajjan BhajankaSecretary, Kalyan Bharti Trust

We welcome the new batch of students of 2021-2022 to The Heritage College, Kolkata.

The Heritage College has a firm faith in the concept of holistic education, thereby emphasizing on the all-round development of the students. Instead of focusing simply on academic excellence, the college believes in the inculcation of humanitarian values, and creates opportunities for self-growth. In fact, we always believe in the harmonious development encompassing academics, co-curricular activities, sports education, and life-skills learning. To make this into a reality, our dedicated faculty members, comprising both experienced & renowned seniors and energetic & dynamic young, are committed and always extend full support to the students in all their endeavours - both academic and extra-curricular.

Within a very short time, The Heritage College has made a name for itself in excelling in the entire spectrum of various activities. This could not have been possible without the merit and talent of our students.

I strongly believe the new batch of students will also continue with this tradition of excellence. I wish them the very best and can assure them of an enriching three years in our institution.

Sanjay AgarwalChairman, Board of Governors, The Heritage College
