The Careers Centre presents a range of careers fairs for students to meet employers in their industry and find out about graduate and career opportunities. Careers fairs are the single best way to meet a range of em-ployers face-to-face and offer you the opportunity to ask questions and build relationships. These employers have come onto campus to meet you, so use this opportunity to get a head start in the competitive graduate and internship market.
If you have any queries on the day please approach the Careers Centre staff at the event and ask them for advice or assistance

• Explore work experience, open days, internships and graduate opportunities
• Find out more about the responsibilities you would have during the first year to 18 months of employment in a graduate job
• Get top tips for filling in application forms, and attending assessment centres/interviews
• Expand your knowledge of the organisation you may want to work for; the ca-reer prospects, organisational environment and training opportunities that they can offer you now and in the future
• Get yourself noticed. Many employers use opportunities like this as part of their early stage recruitment processes. They identify students who present well and show real enthusiasm for the field of work and their organisation.
• Meet organisations and obtain more detailed information than in their litera-ture or websites
• Speak to employees and past USYD graduates about their experiences of working for individual companies
• Talk to graduate recruiters about the range of opportunities available for each level of study
• Gain an insight into the different graduate programs and internship opportuni-ties and what is involved within each role
