Quick start

1. Install SIM card.

Use a needle or similar tool to push the yellow spot on the right side of the SIM base, then SIM

cutting ferrule is open. SIM card should be put into the cutting ferrule. Ensure metal face upside,

push the cutting ferrule back. The antenna uses SMA female receptacle. Revolve the TNC male head

to antenna female receptacle, and ensure it is tightened, in case it affects the signal quality. The SIM

card should have GPRS flow.

2. Install LonHand software.

You can download LonHand software from official website

http://www.usr.so/Download/117.html, click on the floppy symbol then download LonHand

software. We supply back-end server and software on different platforms such as Windows, IOS,

Android and MAC system. Install it on your computer or your cell phone or your pad.

IOS system users can download software from App store for free. Because there are few

differences of software interface between IOS system and Android system, we will illustrate

how to use it on iphone, as an reference to android system users.

LonHand software are green edition, if you do not need just delete its installation directory and

its shortcut icon(windows system).

3. Open LonHand software. Slide to the fourth page, click on start button.

4. There are three options at the bottom of interface: Devices, User, and More. Click on User, enter

user page. Register an account on our server, the account and password should be 4 to 8 bit

string, and they are case sensitive. Login your account, now we use my account as an example.

5. Enter Devices page. Click the add button on the top right corner, popup a box as bellow.

6. Input the MAC address and serial number of USR-PDU, you can also scan QR code to add the

device when use an mobile phone with the scan function. Just click on the QR code symbol,

scan the label on the PDU. Click ok, add the device.

7. Insert the plug of the USR-PDU into the power socket. Wait for a moment, the internal GPRS

module starts to work and connects to server. The Led will turn blue after it has built connection

with server. And on your phone the remote control symbol turn blue.

8. Click on its name enter Source Control page. In this page you are able to control the output,

click on the button on right side, the button change blue and the output is enabled. Click it again,

the button change glue and the output is disabled.

9. Click lock button , users can lock the state of output. You can’t control the output after you

lock the output state. This is very useful for preventing mistake operation. Click the lock button

again, the output is unlocked, users can control the output again.

10. Users can implement timing tasks. Click on timer button , pop up timer task page, click

on the add button on top right corner, pop timer setting dialog box. You can set up to 5 timing

tasks.

11. If you use a computer to add USR-PDU, when you want to control it by phone

remotely, just get activated devices, then you can control. If you have changed the

picture or name of the device, you need save activated devices.

Configuration Introductions

USR-PDU supports configuration via SMS, such as APN and device password, supports changing

the output state through SMS to control equipment and supports SMS password authentication.

Format:

PSW,CMD

PSW - Password, device will execute command when the message begins with the correct password.

The password does not exceed 5 characters in length, case sensitive, default as admin.

CMD – Control command.

Such as: admin, SETOUT1, means the output is set to the ON state.

Command for set APN account:

AT+CSTT=”APN”,”NAME”,”PSW”

APN: APN account

NAME: User name

PSW: APN password

Above items is provided by local operators.

AT+CIPSW=PSW

PSW: Device password; If need control device by SMS after modifying the password, you should

use the new password. Setting will fail if the password beyond five characters
