Women I.T.I. kanker is situated near National Highway 43 about 138 Kms. from that Chattisgarh state capital Raipur.

This Institute was established in 1986 . The Institute was under the Tribal Department earlier since 2001 this Institute under Manpower and plan . All the female trainees belong from tribal category about 50% of them ratios in the resuident provided by the institute in the campus. Three trades of this institute have been upgraded in the year 2008.
