SWOC Analysis
Strength :-
1. New courses synchronized with present day demand. 2. Emphasis on computers & power point presentation for quality based education. 3. Value based education through personality development programmes. 4. National seminar for promotion of research aptitude among student. 5. Scholarship such as Gown ki beti, Pratibha Kiran, Awas yojna, Minority,
Awagaman etc are available for deserving student. 6. Career guidance, skill development Rojgar mela, Aids awareness rally, Voter
awareness rally etc are organized in college for the students awareness. 7. Sport activities- Judo karate, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, athletics for developing physical
fitness of the students. 8. Special Coaching classes for meritorious student as well as weak students of the
college. 9. There is no case of ragging in our college. 10. For clean & green campus initiatives are taken for plantation and cleanliness. 11. There is no case of woman exploitation.
Weakness :-
1. We cannot introduce new Courses at UG. 2. Strength of students cannot be raised by the college management. 3. Lack of Regular government teaching and office staff.
Opportunities :-
1. Employment opportunities are there for students of counselor, detections in hospital, project officer in Mahila and Bal Vikas, opportunities is also there for students in the field of Banking, P.S.C, etc.
Challenges :-
1. Constraint in government finance. 2. Competition from new private colleges.

Post-accreditation Initiatives 1. Admission process have been made more transparent and computerized.- Admission to all
academic programmes of the institution are on-line and is quite transparent and it is according to
the directive of the Department of Higher education, Govt. of M.P.
2. Activities of career Counselling Cell- The college provides career counseling and job-orinted
programmes through Swami Vivekanand Career Counselling Cell. Making the career counseling
cell more effective, many programmes were conducted in the last four years. Futher a Number of
Self-employment training programmes were organized by Swami Vivekanand Career Counseling
Cell in the last four years. These are as follows :-
Food processing – 17.12.11 to 26.12.11
Beauticien - 02.02.15 to 23.02.15
Ms word office – 01.10.15 to 30.10.15
Surya namaskar, question forum were also organized on which the participants shown
their keen interest.
Camps held in villages by N.S.S. to teach the students community service including
cleanliness and hygiene, blood donation camp held on behalf of Red Cross, AIDS day observed,
rally in the city to awaken the people about the disease; awareness created about the honour of
women in the society; Sadbhavna diwas (Good Will Day) celebrated to spread fellow feeling in
the community. Eighty per cent students of the college have been benefitted from these
programmes.
4. Infrastructure development- Computers, fax machines, photocopiers, printers introduced in
various departments. Administrative Building built, and, science lab and teaching room, in
college campus. approximately have been allocated for the construction and renovation of
building in the college campus. IT Cell equipped with computers with net and help desk has been
constructed in the college building.
5. Examination reforms- Semester system introduced for all classes with a semester cell.
Continuous Comprehensive Evaluations in its various modes and project work started.
6. Provision of scholarship- About 70% students belonging to SC, ST, OBC, category have been
availing scholarship. Some meritorious students of general category are also being provided
scholarship under different schemes.
