In terms of section 13 of the Townships and Division of Land Ordinance, 1%3 (Ordinance l l of 1 %3), I hereby declare the area situated on Portion 106 of the Farm Gobabis Town and Townlands No. 114, Registration Division " G and represented by General Plan No. L81 to be an approved township.
The conditions, subject to which the application for permission to establish the township concerned has been granted, are set forth in the Schedule in terms of that section.

SCHEDULE
1. Name of township
The township shall be called Gobabis (Extension 9).
2. Composition of township
The township comprises 62 men numbered 1 to 62 and streets as indicated on General Plan No. L8 1.
3. Reservation of ewen
The following erven are reserved for the local authority: - Erven 1340,1341 and 1346: For street purposes.
4. Conditions of title
(a) The erf shall be subject to the reservation by the Municipal Council of Gobabis of the right of access and use without compensation of the a m three metres parallel with any boundary for the construction and maintenance of municipal services in respect of water, sewerage, drainage, electricity and gas which right includes the right to place on such erf temporarily any materials that may be excavated during such operations on the erf or any adjacent erf.

(b) The erf shall only be used for purposes that are in accordance with the Gobabis Town Planning Scheme approved in terms of the Town Planning Ordinance, 1954 (Ordinance No. 18 of 1954) as amended.
(c) The building value of the main building, excluding the out buildings, shall be at least equal to two times the municipal valuation of the erf.

(PROSPEnING AND MINING) ACT, 1992
In terms of subsection (3) of section 109 of the Mineds (Prospecting and Mining) Act, 1992 (Act No. 33 of 1992) it is made known that the person mentioned in the first column
' of the Table, being the holder of the type of licence specified in the second column, has in terms of subsection ( I ) of that section applied to the Minerals Ancillary Rights Commission for the granting ofthe right mentioned in the third column in respect of the land described in the forth column of the Table.
The Commission shall hear the application at a public hearing from Thursday, 29 May 2008 to Friday, 3 0 May 2008 from 09h00 to 17h00 respectively, in the Boardroom, 2nd Floor, Ministry of Mines and Energy, No. 1 Aviation Road, Windhoek.
Any interested person who wishes to make a repmentation in opposition to the application referred to in the Table must send by registered post his or her written representation in quadruplicate to the Secretary, Minerals Ancillary Rights Commission, Private Bag 13297, Windhoek or deliver at 2nd Floor, Ministry of Mines and Energy, No. 1 Aviation Road, Windhoek, to reach the Secretary not later than seven days before the date of the hearing, and any person whose interest is-or may be prejudicially affected by the granting of the right mentioned in the Table shall be entitled to appear before the Commission at the public hearing, either personally or through his or her representatives.
