♦ Do not let the already frozen packagestouch the fresh ones.

    Important cautions in freezing

    fresh food

Freeze only such food which issuitable for freezing and sustain lowtemperatures. Food should be ofadequate quality and fresh.

Select adequate packaging for eachkind of food and pack it correctly.

− The packaging should be air tight andwell sealed without leaking since thiscould cause substantial vitamin lossand dehydration.

Mark packages with following data:kind and amount of foods and the date ofloading.

It is most important that the food isfrozen as quickly as possible. Wetherefore recommend the size of thepackage not to be too large and to becooled before loading into the freezer.

The amount of the fresh foods that canbe loaded in the freezer as a single load is

stated on the rating plate. If the loadedamount is too large, the quality of freezingis reduced which affects the quality offrozen foods.

     Storing commercially frozen

    food

The storage time and recommendedtemperature for storing commerciallyfrozen foods is indicated on thepackaging. Always follow manufacturer's

instructions for storage and use of frozenfood. When shopping be careful tochoose only food which is adequatelypacked and provided with complete dataand stored in freezers where thetemperature is not higher than -18°C.Do not buy packages of food wrappedwith frost. This indicates that the packagewas thawed before at least once. Takecare that packages don't start to thaw.Temperature rise shortens the storagetime of commercially frozen foods.

    Fault Cause / remedy

Difficult opening of the door• If you want to open the immediately closed

door of the freezer you may experienceresistance. This happens because certainquantity of cold air escapes from the appliancethrough the open door and is replaced bywarm ambient air. Cooling of such air createsnegative pressure (vacuum) which preventseasy opening of the door. Situation isnormalized after a few minutes, and you canopen the door with ease.

     Bulb replacement

    • Before replacing the light bulb, disconnect the

appliance form the power supply. Press thecover at the rear side with your fingers (in thearrow 1 direction) to detach it from its position.Remove the plastic cover (in the arrow 2direction). Replace the bulb with a new one –halogenous or standard (E 14, max. 25 W -Osram Halolux, Philips H.E.) and fit back thecover.

      • Don't forget: the old bulb does not belong to

organic waste.  • Light bulb is consumption material and is not

    covered with the warranty.

     Digital temperature displayflashes

    • This is normal when setting the refrigerator orfreezer temperature.

      • In case of power failure.

      • When the temperature is outside normal limits.

•When the letter E appears on the display, callthe service center.

Troubleshooting helpful hints • If none of the above proves effective and youcan not remove the fault by yourself, call thenearest service center and tell them theinformation from the rating plate: type ofappliance, model and serial number, locatedinside or at the rear of the appliance.
