Introducing Helpouts by Google

The Google Helpouts platform, was launched on 4th November 2013. Its goal is to transform the video tutorial in real-time events, through which users can give and receive instruction stream.

You can use the platform in a passive manner (searching for help), and active, creating your own Helpout. And you can use Helpouts both to look for experts in the network, but also to monetize your knowledge directly from home, offering your advice sitting comfortably in front of your computer.

How to pay and money back guarantee

All payments are done through Google Wallet. There are two kinds of pricings based on either a per minute or per Helpout session. Prices are set by the providers. Some providers offer both options at the same time, leaving it up to the user to decide which one is best for them. At the end of each Helpout, users are asked to write a review.

Helpouts offers a money-back guarantee. If a user is not satisfied with a Helpout, he/she can apply for a refund within 72 hours of the end of the helpout. Google has a cancellation policy that states that some providers may or may not have a cancellation fee.
