What is Google
It is a Head Mounted Device, which is made up of
Titanium shaft.
Glass also uses many existing Google applications,
such as Google Now, Google Maps, Google+, and
Gmail.
We can connect this GLASS with any smart phone.
It requires internet connection for all the tasks such
as sharing, GPS, tracking etc.
Virtual Reality
Computer-simulated environment that can simulate physical presence.
Displayed through computer screen or through special stereoscopic displays.
Speakers, headphones, force feedback also used.
Gaming, Simulations for pilot training.
Augmented Display
View of a real–world environment supplemented by computer generated sensory input.

EyeTap Technology• EyeTap is a device that is
worn in front of the eye that
acts as a camera to record the

Touchpad
A single button on the side of the frame sophisticates the glasses to work with the physical touch input. It can be used in multi-purposeful ways and it acts according to the context.

Microphone
A microphone is also put in, that can take the voice commands of the wearer of user. This microphone is also used for having telephonic communication.
Advantages

Disadvantages
Can take pictures without permission.
Not for right hand handicapped.
No voice calibration. The video and camera can be misused and anybody can capture.
The overall cost which is around $1890. With this much money there are many more technology driven things that can be bought.
There is a complete ban on the use of Google Glasses at several places. Hence you cannot use this device everywhere that you want.
It requires a internet connection
Conclusion
Google Glass is still in the development process and far from
the production phase.
The ever-present fear of security threats, such as theft and
malware, must also be taken into consideration.
Steps of protection against malware have not yet been
discussed by Glass’ designers.
Production and sale of Google Glass for the public will not
occur for at least a few years. There are no signs of left eye
version too.
Google Glass will have a significant impact on the direction
that the technology industry follows in the future.
