GOOD WORK DONE BY RPF/ECOR FOR THE PERIOD FROM 16.10.20202 TO 31.10.2020 01) On 15.10.2020 at about 14.00 hrs As per information from DSC/RPF/KUR office vide letter no. RPF/KUR/CR/tout/19-2020/spl dtd. 05.10.2020 regarding illegally procurement of railway reservation e- tickets and supplying to others for personal gain a drive/raid was conducted by IPF/V.R.Singh along with officers and staff of RPF/Post/BHC in the shop of Jan Seva Kendra of Debdutta Ghosh, At- Ghanteshwar Market, PO- Ghanteshwar, PS- Bansada, Dist- Bhadrak , state-Odisha, During search RPF team noticed the shop was in closed condition. Further RPF team halted at Gurudaspur Station and on 16.10.2020 at about 10.00 hrs RPF team conducted raid and search in the shop of Debdutta Ghosh i.e Jan Seva Kendra where RPF team found one male person was present at the shop. On being asked he disclosed his name and address as Debdutta Ghosh aged-28 years, S/O- Debendra Ghosh, At- Gangadharpur Patna, PS-Bansada,Dist- Bhadrak, Stete-Odisha and also stated that he is the owner of the shop. On further interrogation, he confessed that he has having IRCTC Agent ID i.e. icsceg138747, but he was also using the different personal IDs for Procuring Railway Reservation e- tickets. On demand he himself produced his mobile, laptop and CPU i.e (1) One HP laptop model No- RTL 8723BE (2) one assembled CPU Marked I- Ball and Samsung in DVD slot (3) one Realme 3 Pro Mobile Model No-RMX1851,IMEI No-862162043297097/862162043297089 with SIM -1= 9937277736 (Airtel) Sim-2=8908919191 (Jio) He also confessed his guilt for selling & supplying Railway Reservation e-tickets to needy persons on commission basis by using his different Personal IRCTC user IDs. On demand he could not produce any legal authority for carrying such business of procuring and selling of railway reservation e-tickets through his personal IDs. As it is reasonably suspected that he was committing an offence punishable under section 143 RA. Hence SI/Satya Prakash seized all the above three electronic equipment at the spot as per direction of IPF/V.R.Singh, in presence of independent and RPF witness. confessional statement of Debdutta Ghosh was also recorded by ASI/L.B.Sahu on the spot. Hence, he was arrested by SI/Satya Prakash U/S 179(2) of the Railways Act for committing an offence punishable U/S 143 RA. Thereafter, the arrested person along with seized properties was brought to RPF Post Bhadrak. In this connection, RPF/Post/BHC has regd. a case vide No.C3C/112/2020, dated.16.10.2020 U/S 143 RA. After observing all legal formalities, the accused person was released on interim bail on production of solvent bailer with direction to appear before SDJM/Bhadrak for further legal action. No Railway ticket has been seized, Value of seized mobile & CPU & laptop is Rs-34,000/- 02) On 16.10.2020 as per reliable source of information a raid /search was conducted by ASIPF M.A.Rao along with staff of RPF/Post/CHE under the supervision of PC/RPF/CHE in the shop of Annapurna Travels Situated at main street, Koti Center, Amadalavalasa, Srikakulam- District, Andhra Pradesh. During which arrested one tout viz. Pedada Ranjit Kumar, aged about 31 yers. S/o Pedada Purna Rao, R/O-Door No-7-2-2, Kothakotavari Veedhi, Amadalavalsa, PS-Srikakulam Dist- AP with recovery of 01 future E-tickets valued Rs-2093.76/- and 11 nos. past E-tickets valued Rs-21325.63/- ( total valued Rs-23,419.39/-) by using 14 nos. of personnel user IDs and one white colour key pad mobile of Samsung having IMEI No-352155065343655 & 352156065343653 , one hard disk with serial No-WXN1A375AP99 model no-WD10JPVX-001C3TO make WD blue-01TB. Hence he was arrested. In this connection, RPF/Post/CHE has regd a case vide No- C3C/269/2020 U/S 143 Rly Act dated.16.10.2020. After completion of all legal formalities the arrested person prayed for release on bail, the PC/RPF/CHE released the accused person due to COVID-19, on surety bail bond with instructions to appear before Hon’ble court of VIth Metropolitan Magistrate/Visakhapatnam Court.

3) On 12.10.2020 at about 23.40hrs received information, from SCNL/WAT regarding one passenger viz. Ashok Kumar Barik while he was travelling in train No.01019 (SBC-BBS) he forget his brown colour gunny bag at Srikakulam road railway station. Accordingly ASIPF K.Haridasan contacted with passenger namely Ashok Kumar Barik,aged-29yrs, s/o Satyananda Barik, R/O At.Barimunda, PO.Baulanga, Dist.-Puri, Odisha over phone no.8248406425, he stated that, he along with his wife boarded in train No.01019 Express at Srikakulam Road Railway station having PNR No-8632353994, Ex.CHE to BBS, berth no.36 & 21 of coach no.S-2, but while boarding he forget his brown colour gunny bag on PF No.02 towards VSKP end. Immediately ASIPF K.Haridasan with staff namely Con.4004 B.L.Rao & Con.B.A.Kumar searched Platform no.02 and found the same bag on PF no.02 in good condition, the same bag was brought to RPF POST/Srikakulam and informed to passenger. He gave thanks to RPF for quick action and also he stated that he will collect the same bag after 02 days, On 15.10.2020 at about 20.30hrs the above named passenger attended the post and disclosed his identity and travelling particulars, After verification the brown color gunny bag handed over to rightful person namely Ashok Kumar Barik, in presence of available witness, he once again gave thanks to RPF for response.Total Value.Rs.5000/- approx.

04) On 17.10.2020, T/No. 08426 (DURG-PURI) express arrived Puri at 09.35hrs on PF-04. On

checking of said empty rake by shift officer ASI/B.K.Bal with staff HC-2731 P.K.Behera of RPF/Post

Puri noticed one brown poly bag lying under seat No-56 of coach No-S-6.The said bag was retrieved

and brought to RPF/Post/Puri. On checking found new pant and shirts, new Sarees, costly cosmetics

items and one pocket dairy in which one mobile No- 7327941752 was written. Contact made on the

mobile number and one person Namely Purna Chandra Majhi ,S/O-Debaraj Majhi,R/O-Titilagada ,PS-

Titilagada ,Dist-Balangiri,Odisha picked up the phone and stated that he was travelling from Titlagarh-

Puri vide PNR No-6543133207 in coach No-S-6,seat No-56 by T/No. 08426 (DURG-Puri). The said

train arrived Puri on 17.10.2020 but unfortunately he left behind the bag under the seat. After receiving

the phone call from RPF/Post/Puri the above named person attended RPF/Post/Puri on 17.10.2020 at

12.10hrs, the recovered bag with all articles intact handed over to him with proper acknowledgement

after due verification. He highly appreciated the work done by RPF. The approx cost of the retrieved

bag is Rs 10,000/-.

05) On 18.10.2020 at about 18.30 hrs one person namely Khyiroj Naik attended RPF Post/ Rayagada

and reported that, his daughter namely Swapna Naik Aged-19 yrs was kidnapped by one person from

his village on 18.10.2020 and he lodged FIR at Dangasili police station/ Rayagada and produced Xerox

copy of FIR form with combined photocopy of missing girl and one suspected person. Accordingly

PC/RPF/Rayagada advised on duty PF staff to check the platform and keep watch over and observe

through CCTV footage. During search, noticed the above girl with one male person waiting on PF No-1

to catch train No- 08448 with one reservation ticket having PNR No-6243229089 Ex-Tikiri to

Bhubaneswar. Immediately on duty staff detained both and brought to RPF Post/Rayagada and

informed matter to her father as well as Dangasili Police station where a case vide No-207/2020 dt 18-

10-2020 U/S 366 IPC has been registered in this regard as intimated by Dangasili PS. The above

named rescued girl with the suspected person was handed over to Local Police Station/Rayagada

Town for further course of action from their end, please.

06) On 20.10.2020, after arrival of Train .No. 02704, Secunderbad-Howrah Special Express at about

06:30 hrs at Visakhapatnam station, ASI/Ch.V. Bhaskar, & Constable Lenka Mahesh of RPF

Post/Visakhapatnam noticed one minor boy aged-09 years was moving on Platform No.7 in very

suspicious manner. Hence the RPF officer and staff interacted with the said minor boy who disclosed

his name and address as Bendu aged about 09 yrs and stated that he was ran away from Guntur, but

he did not disclosed his parents name & phone number. Hence the boy was rescued and produced

before on duty SS/Visakhapatnam who made a diary entry No. 522 dt 20-10-2020 & brought to RPF

post/Visakhapatnam. In this respect information was given to CWC/Visakhapatnam &

GRPS/Visakhapatnam. As per advice of Child welfare Comitter/Visakhapatnam the rescued boy was

sent to Government ENT Hospital where his Covid-19 test was conducted and found negative.

Accordingly, as per order of Child welfare Comitter/Visakhapatnam the boy was handed over at

Government Child Home for boys, Visakhapatnam under proper acknowledgement. Again a Diary

entry vide No. 522/8 dt 20-10-2020 was made by on duty SS/Visakhapatnam.

7) On 20.10.2020 from 12.00 hrs to 16.00 hrs, drive was conducted by on duty Officer SI/P.K.Roul

with Staff of RPF Post Puri against undesirable elements at Station area to Prevent Criminal

activities, during course of which at about hrs noticed 01 minor boy was moving in PF-08 of Puri

Railway Station aimlessly & isolated state. On seeing his activities RPF team interrogated the said

boy in presence Child line Staff/Puri. During interrogation he disclosed his Name as. Bhola, aged

about-15yrs, of Gurgaon, Haryana and stated that he was residing with his uncle namely Ali Baba in

Gurgaon. He also stated that one person namely Ali, S/o-Ali Baba boarded him in Purushottam

Express at Anand Vihar Railway station on 19.10.2020 which arrived at Puri on 20.10.2020 at

06.00hrs and unable to say anything more. In this regard the rescued boy handed over to

representative of Child line/Puri with proper acknowledgement with further rehabilitation. In this

regard SS/Puri made a station diary entry.vide No-1049/B Dated.20.10.2020.

8) On 21.10.2020, train No. 08426 [Durg-Puri] arrived at Puri Railway Station PF-06 at about-10.35

hrs, on arrival of the said train on duty Officer namely ASI K.P.Pani & Staff were engaged in safety

checking of the above empty rake before locking of Coaches. During which they found some machine

types items [02 No's of insulation charge & taster] was kept upon the Seat No.43 [upper], Coach No.S-

4 in unclaimed condition. The above items were brought to RPF/Post/Puri. In this connection Co-

operation made with on duty commercial Staff to know the details of the Passenger, accordingly on the

basis of PRS data, it could be learnt that the above seat was booked Ex-Titlagarh-Bhubaneswar vide

PNR No.6343276423 [T.K.Gadatia]. Subsequently PRS staff also provided contact number of the

concern passenger. Accordingly ASIK.P.Pani informed the matter to the concern passenger who

stated that he is available at Bhubaneswar. On getting information he attended RPF/Post/Puri at

about-12.30 hrs and disclosed his identity as TusarKantaGadatia, aged-34yrs ,S/O-Jhasketangadatia,

R/O-Hatisara , PO-Deogaon, PS-Tusura ,Dist-Balangiri, Odisha and is a electrical contractor Presently

his work is going on in Titlagarh area. On the night of 20.10.2020 he boarded in train No. 08426 [Durg-

Puri] Express from Titlagarh to Bhubaneswar for some professional work, but at the time of deboarding

at Bhubaneswar Railway Station he forgotten his luggage/articles, which was kept in his Seat [upper

Seat]. Finally the recovered items handed over to him with proper acknowledgement. After receipt of his

articles he highly appreciated the act of RPF/Puri.The cost of recovered items is Rs-20,000/-

9) On 21.10.2020 at about-13.00 hrs, while HC/Female Geetanjali Sethi was performing duty at

Station main gate, by that time one male person arrived & reported that today his mother namely

Smt. Manju Devi Pradhan was boarded at about 10.00 hrs in train No. 02815 [NandanKanan]

Express vide PNR No.6805689741 Ex-Puri to Kanpur. During boarded his mother at Puri Railway

station someone unknown stolen her money purse containing one mobile phone and liquid cash Rs-

1200/-. Accordingly the said lady HC offered to him for lodging FIR at GRPs/Puri and analysed CCTV

footage with the assistance of another RPF Staff. After analysing CCTV footage it was confirmed that

the concern lady passenger came to Puri Railway Station and boarded in Coach No. S-10. IPF/Puri

collected the mobile number of missing mobile and on dialling in the contact number it was found in

switched on condition. Immediately IPF Puri made Co-operation with Cyber Cell of Odisha Police to

get current location of the mobile number. On the basis of request within 05 minutes Cyber Cell

provided location of the missing mobile number which showing near Puri Railway Station. Thereafter

IPF/Puri instructed to Staff LHC.G.Sethi & CT-9563 D.R.Muduli to search entire PF area 7 & 8

including till ending of Yard. During course of checking they found that one money purse was lying in

the middle portion of route No. 07. On checking of recovered money purse, 01 Mobile Phone & Cash

Rs-1200/-(Total value Rs-6,200/-) has been recovered and after verification the recovered items

handed over to the son of Passenger with proper acknowledgement.

10) On dated 22.10.2020 from 12.30 hours on words on getting reliable source of information a surprise raid and search was conducted by the officers and staff of RPF Post/BAM and Cyber Cell/HQ/BBS under the supervision of IPF/BAM against the suspected illegal business of procuring and supplying railway E tickets at the shop of Sainath Travels, near Station Road, Berhampur. During which apprehended one person namely M.Bairagi, aged.47 years, S/o-Late M.Purushottam, R/o-Ambica Nagar, PS-Gosaninuagaon, Brahmapur, Dist-Ganjam, Odisha (owner of the shop) with recovery of 25 Nos of past e-tickets Total value-49614.17/-, computer, documents and other incriminating articles used for generating railway e.tickets. On further interrogation he confessed his guilt for running the illegal business of procuring and supplying railway e- tickets by using different user IDs. In this connection, RPF/POST/BAM regd. a case vide No- C3C-309/2020 U/S 143 Rly Act dtd-22.10.2020. The accused will be forwarded in the Hon,ble court of SDJM/BAM on 23.10.2020.

11) On 21.10.2020, during drive conducted by LSI P.Thapa along with ASI S.Sethi and staff, of

RPF/Post/BBS found one lady aged about 30 yrs roaming in the circulating area. The lady was

crying and seemed to be in distressed. As per her physical appearance, the lady suspected to be

pregnant. On being asked she did not disclosed her or any personal details because of distress. On

being informed the volunteers of Hamara Bachapan Trust ( Railway Children), Mrs Joytirmayee

Sahoo and Sarijini Sahoo who attended the spot and with the help of the above volunteers the lady

was sent to Capital Hospital Bhubaneswar for treatment with RPF escort by the post vehicle. The

covid test of the lady was done at Capital Hospital. BBSR. After medical examination by doctor, it is

found that the lady was 30 weeks pregnant. On being asked she disclosed her name as Soubhagini

Das, no further details disclosed by the lady. On 22.10.2020 after receiving the Covid report as

negative, the lady was produced before Chairperson of additional Child welfare Committee, Khurda-

Dr Parsuram Moharana, who after 03 hours counseling, sent her to Sudhara Home.VJSS ( Vishwa

Jeevan Seva Sangha). Bhubaneswar for further rehabilitation. In this connection SS/BBS made a

DE vide No-2932/J dtd 22.10.2020.

12) On 22.10.2020 at about-13.00 hrs, at the time of analyzing of CCTV footage of Puri Railway

Station, on duty CCTV staff noticed one girl aged about 17 years was sitting on the bench at PF-01

& 02 in alone & isolated condition and 01 male person [Young boy] was closely watching her

activities. On duty Staff also noticed that, both were without any luggage and their activities were

seems to be suspicious. On seeing their activities on duty CCTV Staff informed the matter to on

duty PF Staff through Walkie-talkie and instructed to attend the indicated spot to verify their

activities. During verification of their identity, the male person disclosed his identity as Jeeban

Darshan Patra, aged-24 Yrs, S/O-Pabitra Mohan Patra, At-Bhimapada, PS-Gop, Dist-Puri [Odisha].

and since 01 year ago he came in contact with the above girl namely Subhashree Roul, aged-17

Years, D/O-Shanker Roul, At & PS-Chandanpur, Dist-Puri [Odisha] through facebook and later

their friendship developed without knowledge of the parents of minor girl. On the night of

21.10.2020 both made the plan to meet at Puri Railway Station for further escape to Bhubaneswar

by any train & as per his direction the above named girl came at PUI Railway Station and both were

waiting for train for Bhubaneswar with valid railway journey tickets. During interrogation by RPF &

Child line team the above named minor girl gave the contact number of her family members.

Accordingly intimation was given her parents and at about-18.00 hrs her family members attended

RPF/ Post/ Puri. After completion of Official formalities with due intimation to GRPs the minor

rescued girl handed over to her family members with proper acknowledgement. As no any

complainant submitted at GRPS/Puri from the end of the girl’s family members, GRPS/Puri did not

take any action against the above young boy. After safely received of their minor girl her family

members appreciated the act of RPF/Post/ PUI to save the life & career of their daughter.

13) On 23.10.2020, the train escorting party of T/NO-08518 Exp of Sambalpur division retrieved

one left behind white polythin bag containing (1) pan card-01 No, (2) Aadhar card – 04 Nos, (3)

RC smart card-01 No (4) voter card-01 No, (5) Bandhan ATM Card-01 No, (6)Bank of Baroda ATM

card-02Nos, (7) State Bank of India-01No,(8) lady Photo -16 Nos, (9) polythin bag -01 No, (10)

License card-01 No, (11) Blue colour jean pant with belt- 01 No, (12) Money purse black colour-01

No, (13) coin 05 rupees & and; 01Rupee- Each 01 No(Total-06 Rupees). Total Value Rs 200/-(Two

Hundred Rupees).in S-2 coach berth No 08 of the said train and handed over to RPF/Post/TIG. On

same date at about 10.30 hrs Sri Tuku Saha , age 26 yrs, S/o-Pradyumna Saha, R/o-Boring

padar,W.No-08, P/s-Kesinga, Dist-Kalahandi, Odisha, attended RPF/POST/Titlagarh and gave his

identity and stated that on 22.10.2020 he was travelling from VSKP to KSNG by T/No 08518 Exp in

S-02 coach , berth No 08 vide PNR No 6143362403 but on arrival of the train at KSNG Railway

station unfortunately he left his polythin bag on his berth. The recovered items were handed over to

the above named person after proper verification on zimanamma.

14) On 24.10.2020, on getting source of information regarding transportation of Tobacco Product

by giving false declaration through Railway Parcel, a raid and surprise check was conducted by

officer and staff of RPF/Post/ Visakhapatnam along with CCI/VSKP at Visakhaptnam Rly Station.

During the course of checking near Out ward parcel office Visakhapatnam at 06.45 hrs, noticed one

person approaching with 01 Railway Receipt(RR) No. 2011-461636 for delivery of 04 GP bundles

and accordingly collected delivery of the said GP Bundles. On suspicion, the above official checked

the GP bundles and found each GP bundles contained 246 Nos. of “ Shaukeen Super-3

unmanufactured tobacco, total 246 X 04 = 984 Nos. tobacco packets. On being verified the tobacco

packets, found the MRP of each packet tobacco is Rs. 81.00, total valued Rs. 81.00 X 984 = Rs.

79,704/-. On inquiry it is revealed that, the said 04 Nos of GP bundles were unloaded from train No.

02806 Exp. Front –LWLRRM E.Co. 17854/C dated 24.10.2020. On interrogation, the above said

person disclosed his name and address as, Naresh Kumar, age-37yrs, S/O-(L)Dharmaveer

Mallick, R/O-Door.No.33-28-6,Captain Rama Rao Junction, PS-II Town Allipuram,Visakhapatnam.

Permanent address as Santa Nagar Bunadhi, PS- Timanpur,Delhi-84. and stated that, he booked

the above tobacco packets by giving false declaration as Readymade garments from NDLS to

VSKP for easy transportation in railway and will shift the materials to Similiguda, Odisha by road by

hiring mini truck to sell it in open market as there is no direct train from NDLS to Similguda, Odisha.

He confessed his guilt regarding giving of false account of goods, hence the above 04nos. gunny

bags containing 984 packets of Shaukeen super-3 unmanufactured Tobacco was seized in

presence of available witnesses with arrest of the above named person. In this connection a case

vide No. C3C/1056/ 20 dtd.24.10.2020, U/S- 163 Railway Act registered against him at RPF

Post/Visakhapatnam and recovered Tobacco Products were brought to RPF/Post/VSKP. The

accused person was released on bail with instruction to appear before Honb’le court of VIth

MMC/Railways/VSKP on 27.10.2020 for further legal action.

15) On 26.10.2020, information received from SCNL/Khurda Road that one passenger has forgotten her black color trolley bag containing old clothes, liquid cash Rs 1000/- some documents valued Rs-

5,000/- in Train No-02802 (New Delhi-Puri) Purusottam special express. As per information on duty shift officer ASI/K.Behera attended train No-02802 which arrived Bhubaneswar on PF-05 at 03.31 hrs and could able to retrieve one black colour trolley bag from coach No-S-4 berth No-63. The said bag was brought to RPF/Post/Bhubaneswar with intimation to the Passenger/ complainant. Subsequently, at about 06.00 hrs one person namely Abdul Khalik, age-30yrs, S/O- Md. Isrial Khan, vill- SahapuraDhanipur, PS/Dist- Jagatshingpur, Odisha having Mob No- 8093753841 and PNR No- 2640137593 Ex Tata to Cuttack attended RPF/Post/Bhubaneswar and stated that the complainant Juhi Parween is his relative and they were travelling in train No-02802 Ex-Tata to Cuttack and de-boarded at Cuttack Railway station but unfortunately she left behind the said bag and they made complain in 182 portal for assistance. After proper verification, the trolley bag with all articles intact handed over to him with proper acknowledgement.

16) On dtd 26.10.2020, on duty RPF “C” shift duty staff at RYD of RPF/Post/Marripalem namely Constable- 9885 C.Pradhan noticed a boy who was moving aimlessly in RYD yard at about 16.30 hrs. The staff asked the boy about his parentage and address but he did not reply and looked confuse. The boy has problem in listening/responding. However he recited his father’s Mobile no. 9701965396. Then contact made with his father who attended RPF/Post/Marripalem with supportive documents. He disclosed identity of his son as Puppala Pardh, Eswer aged-12 yrs,S/o Puppala Ramu, House No.4-230, Pillavani Palem, Mandalam,Ravikamtam, Panchayat:- Gudivada Dist: Visakhapatnam. Andhra Pradesh. On enquiry it could be learnt from his father that on 26-10-2020 at about 03.30 hrs his son woke up and he remembered that his cousin brother’s health condition was not good, so he left home to meet him in his village. Due to night time he missed the route and by mistake he arrived at Marripalem yard. His father has informed to Police Station Ravikamatam, Visakhapatnam. Then the rescued boy handed over to his father with proper acknowledgement and due verification. In this regard on duty station master B cabin, RYD, Marripalem made diary entry vide No-813/A and 813/B dt 26-10-2020. His father submitted appreciation letter for the good work done by RPF officer and staff by saving his son’s life. 17) On 27.10.2020 at about 11.00 hrs, received an information regarding suspected Ganja Bags with 01 outsider at General Ticket Booking Counter, Gyananapuram and likely to transport the same by any available train towards Delhi side. Immediately, SIPF C.V.Ramana along with staff of RPF/Post/Visakhapatnam and 02 independent mediators under the supervision of PC/RPF/Visakhapatnam rushed to General Ticket Booking Counter at Gnanapuram and found 01 person with 02 luggage bags moving suspiciously. On approached to the said person, he started to flee away from the spot, but the above officer and staff could able to detain him with his 02 luggage bags. On being asked he disclosed his identity as, Goutam Kumar,aged-30yrs (Mob.8627851754),S/o (L) Nandji Chowdhary, R/o-Choranti, Post–Dawath, PS-Dawath, District– Rohtas Bihar-802211,Aadhar No. 654864243157. On asking about those 02 luggage bags he said that, the bags containing Ganja. Further he stated tha, he purchased 20 kgs of Ganja from unknown person at remote area of Paderu and came with the said Ganja bags to Visakhapatnam RTC Bus complex by RTC Bus with a view to proceed Delhi for the disposal of the said Ganja to anybody. He also stated that, he had purchased the said Ganja from unknown person at the local area of Paderu at Rs. 2100/- per Kg with view to sell the same at Delhi in higher rate for his personal gain. Accordingly, as per the provisions of the NDPS Act 1985, a mediator’s report prepared from 11.00hrs to 12.30hrs. Further, a notice was served to above accused person Under Section 50 of NDPS Act. He opted Gazetted officer presence for his search and seizure. Accordingly at about 13:00 hours, Sri K.P.James, ASC/RPF/Waltair attended the spot and during search found, total 20 Kgs.Ganja (4 packets each one having 05 kgs) from 02 bags of which 04 samples were collected and each sample pack containing 100 grams Ganja. After completion of sample, sealing, marking and seizure process, the seized Ganja along with the above male accused person handed over to GRPS/Visakhapatnam under the provisions of NDPS Act. In this connection GRPS/Visakhapatnam registered a case vide No-149/2020, 20(i) (a) (B) R/W 5c NDPS Act 1985. The value of seized Ganja is Rs. 1,00,000/-Approx. 18) On 28.10.2020 at about 12.20 hrs, basing upon Prabal data, a joint raid and search was conducted by officer and staff of RPF/Post/Paradeep with officer and staff of CIB/Unit/Khurda Road and staff of RPF/Cyber Cell/HQ/Bhubaneswar at Rajnagar Bazar, Rajnagar Kendrapara. During raid and

search, Srikanta Kund, aged-42 yrs, S/O- Sukadeb Kund, AT/Po- Balabhadrapur, PS- Pattamundai, Dist- Kendrapara was traced from his mobile shop viz. BABA Communication, Rajnagar Bazar, Rajnagar Kendrapara. During interrogation, Srikanta Kundu disclosed that, he is running the above shop for Xerox and repairing of mobile phone since last 08 years and generate Railway ‘’e’’ ticket on demand of people by generating 14 (fourteen) nos. fake IRCTC User IDs (Luci12345, lssi99370, disa111, MUTU1, MUTU6, Mutu3, luvupuspa, L1femutu, biswba, Aaa23, Fff4, Hhh4, cCC1,bBB32) and sold them after taking commission. During search of his laptop found in chromo browser history that, he searched in you tube for Red Mirchy and Real Mango software. But he did not confess to have used it. He admitted, he used one software IRCTC Magic Auto fill Chrome extension for making of ticket and confessed his guilt. The Laptop, Mobile phone and 05 nos. of past journey e-tickets, valued Rs.8276.93 were seized from Srikanta Kundu and he was arrested. In this connection RPF/Post/Paradeep, registered a case vide No- C-3-C-33/2020 dt. 28.10.2020, U/S- 143 Railway Act. The arrested person is being produce before JMFC/Rajnagar on 29-10-2020. 19) On date 28.10.2020, officer and staff of RPF/Post/Marripalem under the super vision of PC/RPF/Marripalem conducted raid and search in a Shop viz. KNR Internet Café, Door No.10-81/1, Ganesh Nagar, Indira Nagar, Gopalapatnam, Visakhapatnam against illegal business of procuring and supply of railway reservation e-tickets. During course of which noticed one person was present at the shop. On being asked he disclosed his identity as Kandi Konda Narayana Rao, aged-27years,S/o-Kandhi Konda Srinu, Door No.10-53/01, Ganesh Nagar, Gopalpatnam, Visakhapatnam, Pin: 530027 and said that, he is the owner of the shop. On interrogation, he stated that, he runs Internet Centre for all online works and also for Xerox works in addition to that, he has created 06 nos. of fake user ID’s, k_bhaskar4, nani201999, suryak44, suryak444, suryak8888 and knrcafe which he used to procuring and supplying of railway e-tickets to his customers by taking extra commission of rupees 100 & 35 per head for Tatkal and Normal tickets respectively and the amount debited to his net banking SBI A/C No. 00000034707676949. During search, 05 Nos. of future journey e-tickets, valued Rs. 6,298.90 with 335 Nos. of past journey e-tickets,valued Rs.3,39,175.27 and other incriminating articles were seized at the spot. Then the above named person was arrested u/s- 179(2) of Railways Act for committing an offence punishable u/s- 143 of Railways Act. Further the shop was handed over on Zimmanama to his father viz. Kandikonda Srinu. In this connection RPF/Post/Marripalem registered a case vide No-618/2018 dt 28-10-2020, u/s-143 of Railway Act. Due to the present pandemic Covid-19 issues arising, the arrested person was released on surety bail bond with instruction to appear before the Hon`ble Court of VIth MM for railways Visakhapatnam without fail. 20) On 28.10.2020 at about 14.00 hrs, during course of round by SIPF/S.K.Rao with staff at Visakhapatnam station, noticed one minor boy moving on FOB-2 lonely. On being asked, he disclosed his name and address as Ranjit Maharana, aged about 16 years, R/O Kumarsahi, Muktabasi, Kamakhya,Dist-Denkanal,Odisha and said that he ran away from home. Further he also disclosed that his father is not alive for which other family members harassing him daily but he did not disclose names and phone numbers’of his any family member. He came to Visakhapatnam and got down from T/No. 08464 (Prashanthi Express). He was rescued and produced before on duty SS/Visakhapatnam, who in turn made a diary entry vide No-596/17 dated 28.10.2020. In this respect information given to Chairperson CWC/Visakhapatnam. As per guidelines, CWC/Visakhapatnam produced him before on duty Doctor, Government Skin Hospital/Visakhapatnam, where his Covid-19 test was conducted and found negative. Finally, the rescued boy handed over at Government home for boys under proper acknowledgement. In this respect another diary entry vide No.596/20 dated 28.10.2020 made by SS/Vishakhapatnam 21) On the night hours of 28.10.2020 at about 20.30 hrs, while on duty RPF Staff of Puri viz. CT-9523

Deepak Ranjan Behura was engaged in performing Patrolling & Crime prevention duty at Delang

Railway Station, noticed one lady aged about-60 Years was sitting in between UP main line Railway

track at the extreme end of Platform No. 02.of Delang Railway Station. The above RPF Staff also

observed that, the line was cleared for through Passing of train No.02838 [Puri-Howrah] Super fast

Express from the same Railway Line. On seeing above, on duty Staff immediately rushed to the spot

and instructed her to move from Railway track, but she did not respond. Accordingly, the above said

RPF Staff forcefully removed her from Railway track with an intension to save her life. Further the

rescued lady brought to Delang Railway Station. At the time of rescue she was very aggressive, so that

above RPF Staff informed the matter to on duty Officer, SI P.K.Sethi to provide immediate assistance &

disposal of the rescued lady. On getting information SI P.K.Sethi attended Delang Railway Station in

the night of 28.10.2020 and after counseling, the rescued lady disclosed her name & address as,

Basanti Baral, aged about-60 Years, W/O-[Late] Rama Baral, At-Jokonadua, PO-Beroboi, PS-Delang,

Dist-Puri [Odisha]. She stated that, on the morning hours of 28.10.2020, after quarreled with her family

[Son & others] due to family matter, evening about 20.00 hrs, she came at Delang Railway Station

area with an intension to commit suicide by any train. Accordingly, SI P.K.Sethi informed her relatives

through available sources and during late night her relatives [Son and others] arrived at Delang Railway

Station and stated that, the said lady left home without knowledge of their family members, that time

onwards they were in search of her near by area/locality etc. Further, the rescued lady was handed

over to her son viz. Ravindra Baral with proper verification and acknowledgement. They appreciated

the act & follow-up action of RPF Officer & Staff of Puri. In this regard a D.E. made at DEG vide No.11.

22) On dt.29.10.20,at about 07.02hrs Train guard of Train No-NTELC-43,reported over 182 PSHL

regarding his One plus mobile phone Valued Rs. 30,000/- has dropped due to Jerk in between

MRDL-HND near First bridge while he was on duty i.e proceeding from TLHR to PRDP. On getting

information from SCNL/KUR on duty staff Const-9414 B.K.Dora of OP/BDPK at MRDL attended spot

made search and retrieved the same. In this connection the concern Guard namely Debashis Mallick

was informed and he attended MRDL station at about 21.15 hrs dt.29.10.2020. His mobile was handed

over to him with proper acknowledgement in presence of SM/MRDL.

23) On 30.10.2020, at about 19.39hrs one person viz. Sahu Sudarsan, S/o- Late. Saradhi Sahu

R/o- D.No.43-17-11, New Colony,Visakhapatnam attended at Visakhapatnam Railway Station Parcel office with a carton box and booked for Ex. Visakhapatnam to Mumbai, vide RR No.2011-508992. Immediately, on duty RPF staff of RPF/Post/VSKP asked the above said person about the consignment and declaration. Further, on checking of the consignment, found Foreign Cigarettes Brand name “ MARLBORO” MADE UNDER AUTHORITY OF PHILIP MORRIS BRANDS SARI, NEUCHATEL, SWITZERLAND. On being asked, he opened the consignment voluntarily and it was found, total 70 packets, each packet having 10 Nos. of small sub packets and each sub packet with 20 Nos.of Cigarette sticks i.e, total 14,000 Nos.of sticks(Total valued Rs.1,40,000/-approx).The above consignment with said person being hand over to Sri. T. Govinda Raju, Superintendent/RI & I, Custom House,Visakhapatnam, on 31.10.2020 for further suitable legal action.

24) On 29.10.2020, at about 15.00 hrs. Ramesh Chandra Hati, working as ASI/GRPS/BBS along with RPF STF Team BBS, while performing patrolling duty at BBS Rly. Station received information that, huge quantity of foreign liquor is likely to be transported to VSKP by Konark Express. At about 15.05 hrs, they noticed one person while trying to enter into PF No-01 with carrying a large polythene bag suspected liquor bottles. During search the said polythene bag, found 06 nos.sealed glass bottles liquor (Vodaka) containing 750 ml & 12 sealed glass bottles of liquor (Blenders Pride Whisky) containing 750 ml. (total 18 bottles, 13 ltr 500ml.)Total Valued Rs. 22320/-Approx. On being asked, the above said person could not produce any valid document in favour of the above liquor bottles and disclosed his identity as, Sapeta Raju, Age-59 yrs, S/O- Late S.Nilakantha, R/O- Budheswari Colony, PS-Laxmisagar, BBSR, Dist- Khorda, Odisha. Hence, ASI/GRPS/BBS seized those foreign liquor bottles and arrested the accused at the spot. In this connection, GRPS/BBS registered a case vide No.96/2020 dtd. 29.10.2020, U/S-52(a) Odisha Excise Act- 2008.

25) On dtd. 30.10.2020 at about 18.55 hrs, during course of round by LSIPF V. Keerthi Reddy, ASIPF Ch. V Bhaskar along with staff of RPF/ Post/Visakhapatnam noticed one minor boy moving on PF no. 4, of Viskahaptnam RS without any elder person with him. On being asked, he disclosed his name and address as Chintu, aged-08 years, R/o- Berhampur, Odisha and stated that, he ran away from home without knowledge of his parents. After that, the said minor boy was produced before SS/Vishakhapatnam, who made a diary entry vide no.618/03 dated 30.10.2020. The rescued minor boy was handed over to Railway Child line /Help Desk /Vishakhapatnam for safe custody and information given to Chairperson CWC/Vishakhapatnam. Further, on 31.10.2020, Covid test of the rescued boy was conducted, found negative and handed over at Government Home for Boys under proper acknowledgement. In this respect, another diary entry vide no.625/8(1)dated 31.10.2020 made by SS/Vishakhapatnam.

26) On the evening hours of 30.10.2020, DSCNL/Khurda Road uploaded few Photographs of a missing girl in Divisional WhatsApp group. On receipt of the same, IPF/Puri forwarded the same Photographs in RPF/Post WhatsApp group with instruction to the Officers & Staff to trace & detain, if the missing girl noticed. On the night hours of 30.10.2020, while train Escorting Party of train No.02838 [Puri-Howrah) Exp. of RPF/Post/Puri, while engaged for checking of Sleeper Coaches, noticed one lady aged about 30Yrs. was standing & changing her clothes [trying to wear "Burkha" a cloth to cover her face as per Muslim tradition] between vestibule of Coach No.S-11 & 12 and a male person was watching her from a distance in suspicious manner. On seeing their activities, train escorting Party Staff [HC-9143 R.N.Prusty & LHC.Meetanjali Rout] interrogated the male person and instructed him to show journey ticket with Identity Card. The said male person shown his journey ticket which was booked Ex. Bhubaneswar-Howrah, vide PNR No.6343538916, Coach No.B-1, Seat No. 53 and found his identity as, Sabir Ali, aged-32 yrs, At-Murshidabad, West Bengal from his Passport No. [M-8198966]. On asking about his presence at S-11 Coach, he said that, his wife wants to change her dress, so he came near Vestibule of Coach No.S-11 & 12. After that, the above escorting Party interrogated the lady Passenger as her activitity was also suspicious. During interrogation by ladies RPF Staff, she also shown her journey ticket Ex-Bhubaneswar-Howrah, PNR No.6443539695, Coach No.B-1, Seat No.56, but she denied to disclose her identity. Furthere her identity was verified from reservation chart and it could be learnt that, the above seat [B-1, 56] has been booked in the name of M.Parbati, aged-30 yrs. When RPF Escorting Party asked about concern passenger from the said lady, she denied to say anything and also opposed to show her face. As the matter was contradictory, the matter was informed to IPF/Puri, at that time the above train was running between Cuttack-Jajpur Section. Immediately, IPF/Puri co-ordinated with GRPS/Bhadrak & Jajpur to provide assistance for proper interrogation. But, before reaching the train at Jajpur lady staff of escorting party confirmed that, the said lady Passenger is the same, whose photos were posted in the RPF Post Whatsapp. group. GRPS team/Jajpur attended the said train at Jajpur Railway Station on the night of 31.10.2020 at about 00.30 hrs and both [male & Female] passengers were detrained from train for proper interrogation. During interrogation, it was ascertained that the actual name of the lady Passenger is M.Parbati Reddy, aged-30 Years, D/O-N.Allay Reddy, At-Lanjipally, PS-Baidhya Nath Pur, Dist-Ganjam [Odisha] and the male person works as a software Engineer. They came in contact with each other through social media [Facebook] since last 03-04 months back. On the night of 29.10.2020 he [male person] came from Kolkata to Berhampur and on 30.10.2020, as per their earlier programme the above lady left her home with intimation to her family members that, she went to take some items from market, but she fled away with the above male person from Berhampur to Bhubaneswar. After that, the above matter informed by the train escorting party to her parents and they intimated that, they already lodged FIR with B.N.Pur/PS about missing of her. IIC B.N.Pur, PS & SDPO B.N.Pur also contacted with the train escorting party In-Charge, ASI A.K.Jena and requested to detain/handover both of them to GRPS/Jajpur till B.N.Pur Police reaches. On 31.10.2020, B.N.Pur/PS Police attended GRPS/Jajpur and taken them for detail investigation about the matter. The rescued lady was handed over to her parents/family members after medical examination and the above said male person detained at

B.N.Pur/PS for proper interrogation and further legal action as per law. The act of RPF train escorting party appreciated by SDPO, IIC & family members of the rescued lady.

27) On 31.10.2020 at about 15.15 hrs, during course of round by LSIPF V. Keerthi Reddy along with Subhadravahini staff of RPF Post/Visakhapatnam, noticed one adult girl was moving on PF No. 1 of Visakhapatnam RS. On being asked, she disclosed her name and address as, T. Sandhya, age -18 years, D/O- Prasad, R/O-B C Colony, Mugada, Badangi (P.S), Vizianagaram, AP-535578 and her father’s mobile No.7702786451. Immediately contact was made with her father who stated that, his daughter repeatedly runs away from home and her mother doesn’t want to take her back. His father also stated, hand over her daughter at Anada Ashram. The rescued adult girl also wants to go the Anada Ashram. The said girl was produced before SS/Visakhapatnam, who made a Station Diary entry vide no.625(8) dated 31.10.2020 with information to GRPS/Vishakhapatnam. Then, the rescued girl was handed over to Jyothirmayi (Shelter Manager), GVMC AUTD Shelter, TSR complex, 2nd floor, 27th Ward, Opp. Vaibhav Jewellers with proper acknowledgement.

28) On dtd. 29.10.2020, Train Escorting party of RPF Post/Titlagarh recovered one Key Pad (Jio)

Mobile Phone from S-9 coach from berth No-60 of T/No-08518 Exp, Valued Rs.1500/-approx, which was found unattended. On being asked to co-passengers of the said coach, nobody came forward to receive the same. Hence, the recovered mobile was brought to RPF Post/Titlagarh. Later, in the morning hours of the same date one call received on the recovered mobile number from Kumar Baralebadia who said that, he was travelling from Muniguda to Titlagarh by T/No.08518 Exp, in S-9 coach having PNR No.674-3457008, but his mobile Jio(Key Pad) was left on the berth and he got down at Titlagarh. He requested to keep the mobile and later will come for receive the same. On dtd. 31.10.2020, a person viz. Hina Baralebadia, aged-52 yrs, S/O- Ujal Baralabedia , R/o-Police Colony, Titilagarh, who is nephew of Kumar Baralebadia attended RPF Post/Tilagarh and said, his uncle Kumar Baralebadia sent him to receive the recovered Mobile Phone. Further, the Mobile Phone was handed over to him after verification and proper acknowledgement.
