MASS INTENTIONS for June 27-July 2, 2017
Pastor’s Pen By Fr. Luke Ferris
“Are not two sparrows sold for a small coin? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father’s
knowledge.” (Matthew 10:29) Our Lord’s words are very reassuring as we say good-bye this weekend. We renew our trust that our Father God is leading us forward even in the sorrows of separation. We can look back at some wonderful progress these past four years:
· We have renovated our church spiritually and physically
· We have grown and improved our school
· We have developed our parish leadership and staff
Perhaps the greatest gift has been how we have grown together. So many good people, so many blessings from God. This unity seems to be hurt by separation, but with eyes of faith we can see that unity comes from each of us growing closer to God. And Fr. Tom Farrell will continue that growth, and I will be cheerleading from Green Bay! Thank you for all that each of you have given to me and our parish. May God bless you all now and forever.
Gratefully yours,
Fr. Luke

Until we meet again…
Those are the words that my
adopted Grandpa always said to
me when we left one another
and now I say them to all of you
as I spend my final days as the
principal of Sacred Heart
Catholic School. Thank you for supporting me
and the work of our school throughout my five
years here. When I look back on that time, it’s
amazing to remember all that we have
accomplished. I truly had no idea what I would
be fortunate to gain from this experience and I
wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Thank you for the many cards, gestures, and
gifts of gratitude that you have shared with me
in my final weeks. You are so thoughtful and
appreciative. You’ve warmed my heart during
this bittersweet time.
God’s Blessings,
Elisha Wagenson Principal, July 2012-June 2017
