About Us
It all started with the H & S Pogues department store in Cincinnati in 1848, which catered to the affluent. Having a sophisticated eye for fashion, color and quality, Pogues flourished.
Two additional stores were added and in 1961 all three were sold to Associated Dry Goods. Christina Pogue is the great granddaughter of Henry Pogue, one of the founders of H & S Pogues.
Christina, an avid tennis and golf player was disappointed with the active sportswear in the local shops. She decided to use her inherited talents and had her seamstress tailor some of her tennis and golf clothes creations for her own use. The clothes were an instant hit with her family and friends. Pogues of today was established in 2004.

About NatureTech™ Fabric Pogues Aidan polo shirts utilize a unique hybrid material utilizing 60% Fine Cotton and 40% Performance Poly. Unlike conventional cotton/poly blends, the NatureTech™ process produces composite layers (plaited), with cotton on the inside of the top and poly on the outside. The inside layer of fine combed cotton provides the ultimate in comfort next to your skin while the layer of performance poly on the outside surface wicks away moisture to the surface of the fabric. These dual layers work in tandem to cool the body and allow moisture to quickly evaporate. Besides being cool, these shirts are wash & wear and are shrink, wrinkle and stain resistant.
