the Three Bears by James Marshall. The

inferencing page and the cause and effect

page goes with that particular story, but

the other pages of the packet could be used

for any Goldilocks story. If you want to stick

with the same author, Jan Brett also has a

version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

This unit is meant to compare and contrast

the 2 different versions of Goldilocks. I

wanted to pair it with the winter version of

Goldilocks, The Three Snow Bears by Jan

Brett. We hope you enjoy this unit as much

when someone says she’s sweet.

The bears are upset at what she’s done.

They hope that she never comes back.

She is disrespectful to the bears’ things.

My inference: What is the character like?

I think that Goldilocks is very naughty and disobedient because she disobeys her mom after promising her not to take the

shortcut. Then she goes in a stranger’s house and eats their food, breaks their things, and sleeps in their bed. And she doesn’t

even say that she is sorry!!
