Theme Roadmap for Quality PharmacyEducation and Research

APTI is an association founded by eminent pharmaceutical scientists and teachers like Prof. M L Shroff and Prof.G P Srivastava among others. It has over the years achieved its prime aim, which is providing a forum forinteraction among pharmacy teachers of the country. The association has succeeded in raising the standard ofpharmacy education in the country through interaction and exchange of ideas. To cope with the advances intechnology, teachers must be equipped with knowledge and competence. The APTI is playing a stellar role inspreading the awareness among the pharmacy teacher fraternity by conducting conventions and seminars.
APTI is celebrating its 50 glorious years at the 21 National Convention at Manipal in October 2016.st

Roadmap for Teaching andEvaluation in Pharmacy Education
APTICON-2016 will be comprised of five focus areas specifically designed to offer comprehensive sessions that addresscurrent issues of PharmaWorld.
A: Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology and Industrial Pharmacy
B: Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Quality Assurance and Drug Regulatory Affairs
C: Pharmacognosy, Phytochemistry and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology
D: Pharmacology, Toxicology, Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacoepidemiology and Phamacovigilance
E: Pharmaceutical Education, Hospital Pharmacy, Community Pharmacy, Professional Pharmacy and PharmaceuticalManagement.
Research contributions describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, constructive, experimental ortheoretical work in the focus areas mentioned above are invited for poster presentation at the convention.
Abstracts should not be more than 250 words including objectives, methodology, results and discussion.
