SPEAKER SERIES • Our seven Global Issues Evenings speakers provided valuable insights into many diverse international issues. • With the help of WJCT Public Television and Radio broadcasts and interviews, as well as newspaper articles in the Florida Times-Union and the Daily Record, these talks reached far beyond the audience of 4,800 at the University of North Florida. Thanks to partnerships with The Gate Governors Club and the Jacksonville Business Journal, the seven Global Business Luncheons produced a stellar turnout with over 800 attendees at The River Club, meeting an important need of our business community. The inaugural Global Business Dinner was hosted with Greg Ip, providing an opportunity to engage in dialogue following the presentation. Diane DeMell Jacobsen, Ph.D. James C.
