It’s time for me to

go to preschool!


My teachers are

excited to see me!


Some things are the

same, and some

things are different.


I help keep

everyone healthy.


When I get to

preschool, I say

“goodbye” at

the door.


A teacher meets

me and walks

with me to

my classroom.


Some people wear

masks, but their

smiles are still

there underneath.


Some people wear

gloves, but their

gentle hands are

still inside.


Some of my friends

are at preschool.


Some of my friends

are learning

at home.


My classroom

looks different.


There’s lots of

space to play

and learn.


I stay 6 GIANT steps

away from others.

Some toys are put

away, but there are

lots of fun things

to do!


My teachers remind

me to wash my

hands so germs

don’t spread.


There are new rules

about where to sit.


There are new rules

about sharing.


My teachers show

me how to have

fun and stay safe.


If I need a hug, I

open my arms out

wide and my

teacher does

the same.


Even when I can’t

touch others, I can

feel their love.


Preschool is a bit

different, but it’s still

a happy place to

play and learn!
