Introduction:
I made this file to give honor to our God and to our only
Savior, Lord Jesus Christ. This is my little way to preach His
Words to my brothers and sisters who need His grace. I hope you
appreciate my effort in making this file and I hope that I helped
you somehow in facing your problems. This is actually a remake or
an expanded version of the section Where To Find Help, When,
Teachings About Some Of Lifes Problems and Christian Virtues and
Character in the Gideons International bible which I received last
September 29, 2008. This is a way how I serve our Mighty Creator by
spreading His Words. I want it to share to you because it is very
effective to read the Word of God at all times. Those words changed
my whole life and help me stand every time I fall. Based on the
definition of the Gideons International on the Bible, it is the
travelers map, the pilgrims staff, the pilots compass, the soldiers
sword, and the Christians charter. Here Paradise is restored.

WHERE TO FIND HELP, When
AFRAID Psalm 34:4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and
delivered me from all my fears. Matthew 10:28 And fear not them
which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather
fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 2 Tim
1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and
of love, and of a sound mind. Hebrews 13:5,6 5 Let your
conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such
things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor
forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper,
and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
ANXIOUS
Psalm 46 1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help
in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be
removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the
sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the
mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 4 There is a
river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the
holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5 God is in the
midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that
right early. 6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he
uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with
us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8 Come, behold the works
of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9 He
maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the
bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust
doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay

knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first

morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Phil. 4:6 Be careful
for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 1 Peter 5:6,
7 6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that
he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for
he careth for you.

BACKSLIDING
Psalm 51 1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy
lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies
blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me thoroughly from mine
iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I acknowledge my
transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. 4 Against thee, thee
only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou
mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou
judgest. 5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my
mother conceive me. 6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward
parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. 7
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be
whiter than snow. 8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the
bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. 9 Hide thy face from my
sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean
heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not
away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12

then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto
you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we
say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie,
and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in
the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of
Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we
have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If
we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our
sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
BEREAVED Matthew 5:4 4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they
shall be comforted. 2 Cor. 1:3, 4 3 Blessed be God, even the Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all
comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be
able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort
wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
BITTER OR CRITICAL 1 Cor. 13 1 Though I speak with the tongues
of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding
brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of
prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and
though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have
not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to
feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not
charity, it profiteth me nothing.4 Charity suffereth long, and is
kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not
puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own,
is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in
iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things,
believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.8
Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall
fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be
knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9 For we know in part, and we
prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then
that which is in part shall be done away. 11 When I was a child, I
spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child:
but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we
see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in
part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 13 And now
abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of
these is charity.

CONSCIOUS OF SIN
Prov. 28:13 13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but
whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
DEFEATED Romans 8:31-39 31 What shall we then say to these
things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared
not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not
with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing
to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is
he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is
risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh
intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of
Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine,
or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake
we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the
slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors
through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither
death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor
things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor
any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of
God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
DEPRESSED Psalm 34 1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his
praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make her
boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. 3 O
magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. 4 I
sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my
fears. 5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces
were not ashamed. 6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles. 7 The angel of the LORD
encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. 8 O
taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that
trusteth in him. 9 O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no
want to them that fear him. 10 The young lions do lack, and suffer
hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.
11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of
the LORD. 12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many
days, that he may see good? 13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy
lips from speaking guile. 14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek
peace, and pursue it. 15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the
righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. 16 The face of the
LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of
them from the earth. 17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth,
and delivereth them out of all their troubles. 18 The LORD is nigh
unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a
contrite spirit. 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but
the LORD delivereth him out of them all. 20 He keepeth all his
bones: not one of them is broken. 21 Evil shall slay the wicked:
and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. 22 The LORD
redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in
him shall be desolate.
DISASTER THREATENS Psalm 91 1 He that dwelleth in the secret
place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the
Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my
fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver
thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt
thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5 Thou shalt
not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that
flieth by day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness;
nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7 A thousand shall
fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall
not come nigh thee. 8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and
see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because thou hast made the LORD,
which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There
shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy
dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep
thee in all thy ways. 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands,
lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. 13 Thou shalt tread upon
the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou
trample under feet. 14 Because he hath set his love upon me,
therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he
hath known my name. 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer
him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour
him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my
salvation.

Psalm 118:5, 6 5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD
answered me, and set me in a large place. 6 The LORD is on my side;
I will not fear: what can man do unto me? Luke 8:22-25 22 Now it
came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his
disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other
side of the lake. And they launched forth. 23 But as they sailed he
fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and
they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. 24 And they came
to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he
arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they
ceased, and there was a calm. 25 And he said unto them, Where is
your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another,
What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and
water, and they obey him.
DISCOURAGED Psalm 23 1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not
want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me
beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in
the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I
walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no
evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely
goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I
will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 42: 6-11 6 O my
God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember thee
from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill
Mizar. 7 Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts:
all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. 8 Yet the LORD will
command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his
song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life. 9 I
will say unto God my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me? why go I
mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? 10 As with a sword
in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto
me, Where is thy God? 11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why
art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet
praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. Psalm
55:22 22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee:
he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Matthew 5:11, 12
11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you,
and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in
heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
2 Cor. 4:8- 18 8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed;
we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not
forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in
the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus
might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are alway
delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus
might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death
worketh in us, but life in you. 13 We having the same spirit of
faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I
spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; 14 Knowing that he
which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and
shall present us with you. 15 For all things are for your sakes,
that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many
redound to the glory of God. 16 For which cause we faint not; but
though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by
day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment,
worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things
which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but
the things which are not seen are eternal. Phil. 4:4-7 4 Rejoice in
the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your moderation be
known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be careful for nothing;
but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let
your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which
passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through
Christ Jesus.

DOUBTING
Matthew 8:26 26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye
of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea;
and there was a great calm. Hebrews 11 1 Now faith is the substance
of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it
the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand
that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things
which are seen were not made of things which do appear.4 By faith
Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by
which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of
his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. 5 By faith Enoch
was translated that he should not see death; and was not found,
because God had translated him: for before his translation he had
this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is
impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe
that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek
him. 7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as
yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house;
by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the
righteousness which is by faith. 8 By faith Abraham, when he was
called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an
inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange
country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs
with him of the same promise: 10 For he looked for a city which
hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. 11 Through faith
also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was
delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him
faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore sprang there even of one,
and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in
multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but
having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced
them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the
earth. 14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they
seek a country. 15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that
country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity
to have returned. 16 But now they desire a better country, that is,
an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God:
for he hath prepared for them a city. 17 By faith Abraham, when he
was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises
offered up his only begotten son. 18 Of whom it was said, That in
Isaac shall thy seed be called: 19 Accounting that God was able to
raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him
in a figure. 20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning
things to come. 21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed
both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of
his staff. 22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the
departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment
concerning his bones. 23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid
three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper
child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment. 24 By
faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the
son of Pharaoh's daughter; 25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction
with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a
season; 26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the
treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the
reward. 27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the
king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. 28 Through
faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he
that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. 29 By faith they
passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians
assaying to do were drowned. 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell
down, after they were compassed about seven days. 31 By faith the
harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had
received the spies with peace.32 And what shall I more say? for the
time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson,
and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: 33
Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained
promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 Quenched the violence of
fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made
strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the
aliens. 35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and
others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might
obtain a better resurrection: 36 And others had trial of cruel
mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were
slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and
goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; 38 (Of whom the
world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains,
and in dens and caves of the earth. 39 And these all, having
obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: 40
God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us
should not be made perfect.

FACING A CRISIS Psalm 121 1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the
hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD,
which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be
moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that
keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD is thy
keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall
not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD shall
preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The LORD
shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time
forth, and even for evermore. Matthew 6:25-34 25 Therefore I say

add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for
raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil
not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even
Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30
Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day
is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more

GODLINESS Titus 2:11- 14 11 For the grace of God that bringeth
