Parents are online … Pre-requisite or Opposite?– Currently best district over 50%, but most are still around 10%!

PC/SC – Should not just be a casually used application – it should be your Admin “Facebook” with Parents/Students!

It is critical that all user groups are online with PC/SC? We feel strongly that if you are not moving in this direction – something bad is going to happen! How to get them there, how to keep them coming back Use STU.557 to gauge success in Parents logging on

12’s, all those in English … but not in BB Auto on/off for timeframe and be sensitive to not leaving it up there

forever! Consider creating numbering to know difference between one time

messages (can delete) and messages that you keep around/annual Use HTML to spruce it up

Web Forms STU.328 Looking for online approval/signature on forms rather than

paper! Directed to just the intended audience – not necessarily to

everyone Reporting and auto-email based on response/lack of

Incredible potential to reduce 1000’s of pieces of paper and management of it!

Definitely could be a reason to put the horse before the cart .. Politely ‘force’ parents online to respond.


Web Forms Create the Form Information STU.328

Decide on things like due date, what to do with form and info each year Use AdminConnect <bulletin board> to attach a document that

would be included with the form Parents respond to the form or you can manage in STU.328 Use STU.558 to report on responses. If form is marked CLS this

report is also available to the appropriate teacher(s) and just for their students in their TeacherConnect reports

Use STU.525 to remind/email parents who have not responded or have responded in a certain way
