2 GOALS MANAGEMENT
2.1 GOAL CREATION
1. From the home page, use the navigation dropdown menu and select Goals
2. To create a Goal click on Add new > Create New Goal > Personal Goal.

3. Choose the visibility type and Category. Then fill out the goal information. Be sure
to fill out all the required fields which are marked with a red *. Click on Save
Changes button once done creating the goal.
4. After saving the changes, the newly created goal will display under the selected
goal category as shown in the example below.

2.2 GOAL CASCADE (FOR MANAGERS ONLY)
1. Select a goal(s) from your goal plan then click on the Cascade button.
2. Select the employees which needs to have the goal.

3. After modifying the goal, click on Cascade
4. An alert would display in the goal page that the goal has been aligned to your
employee’s goal.

2.3 GOAL MODIFICATION
1. Click Home dropdown menu then go to Goals
2. To edit a goal, click the edit link either after the goal name or the edit link found
under Actions.

3. Modify the goal information from the Edit Goal window. Once done, click on Save
Changes.
4. To delete a goal, click the actions button then Delete Goal. NOTE: The system
only deletes one goal at a time.
5. After clicking Delete Goal, a pop window is displayed to confirm the action. Click
on OK. The goal should no longer be displayed in the goal plan after being
deleted.

2.4 GOAL STATES (FOR MANAGERS AND HR ONLY)
1. To approve the goal plan of your employees, go to the Employee’s goal plan by
searching the employee as shown in the screenshot below.
2. Click the Approve button to approve (lock) the goal plan of the employee. NOTE:
Once a goal plan is approved (or locked) only the Manager can modify the goals
of the employee. The employee will only have read access to his goals.
3. To un-approve a goal plan, same with approving a goal plan, go to the
employee’s goal plan. See step 1.

4. Click the un-approve link to make the goal fields editable to the employee.
2.5 STATUS REPORT
1. To provide status updates about your goal, go to Status Report

2. All goals in your goal plan will be displayed under Status Report. Modify the
Execution Actual and Comment fields. NOTE: The date seen in the Status Report
indicates the date when you last sent a status update.
2.6 EXECUTION MAP
1. To see how your goals are aligned to your employees, go to Execution Map

2. If you want to ask a status update about the goals of your employees, click the
Ask Goal Owner for Status Update as shown below.
3. If you want to mark the goal as part of the Meeting Agenda list. And to remove
the goal as part of the agenda, click on Remove this Goal from Meeting Agenda
Watchlist.

2.7 MEETING AGENDA
1. To go to Meeting Agenda, click Meeting Agenda beside Execution Map.
2. Use the filters on the right to filter the information you want to print out. You may
also click the “x” icon to remove the goal from the list. Once you are done, click on
Create PDF.

3 PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
3.1 HOW TO ACCESS THE ANNUAL ASSESSMENT FORM
**NOTE: You may follow the same steps when accessing the annual assessment form
however, no ratings are required during the Employee Acknowledgement step. You may
add comments before sending the form to Manager Acknowledgement.
1. Click the Home dropdown menu then go to Performance
2. In your Inbox, click the 2017 Annual Assessment form
3. Fill out all the rating and comment fields under Performance Goals, Core
Competencies.

4. Check the Incomplete Items pod to see if there are required fields that you have
not yet been able to fill out. Once done, click on the Finalize button.
5. You may deselect the Perform Legal Scan and Spell Check on the form then click
on next.
6. The comment field found on this page is optional. Any comments entered here will
appear in the notification sent to the next recipient of the form. Click on Finalize
once you are ready to send the form to the next step.

3.2 ACCESS TO THE ANNUAL ASSESSMENT FORM (FOR
MANAGERS ONLY)
**NOTE: The same steps may be followed when accessing the annual assessment form.
During the 1:1 Meeting and Manager Acknowledgement step, ratings are no longer
required and a comment field will be available before sending the form to completed
step.
1. From the Performance Page, click on the Team Overview subtab.
2. The Team Overview tab allows you to see where your employees are in the route
map. Click the Review button as shown in the screenshot.

3. The rating and comment of the employee is shown per item. While the Manager’s
rating and comment fields are located at the left side. These fields are required
for each section. Be sure that these are populated.
4. Check the Incomplete Items pod to see if there are required fields that you have
not yet been able to fill out. Once done, click on the Finalize button.

3.3 ASK FOR FEEDBACK
1. To use the Ask for Feedback feature, go to Team Overview.

2. The Ask for Feedback button is available for each employee.
3. Use the Add Existing Employees option to ask feedback from internal employees.
From the search box field, key in the employee’s name then select.

4. Search for the user in the search box and then select that user from the search
result. The user will then show up in the People area as shown below.

5. To add external users, use the Add External Email Address option then just add
the user’s email address and name. Click on Add once done.
6. Once you have selected the users you wanted to provide feedback, click on Send
Email. OPTIONAL: You may also modify the message that will be sent to the user
before sending the email.

3.4 CALIBRATION
1. To access Calibration, go to Team Overview.
2. Once all the forms are in the Calibration step, click the Calibration button as
shown in the screenshot.

3. The Dashboard tab shows the employees rating distribution. To start the
Calibration session, go to the Bin Tab.
4. In the Bin tab, you can drag and drop the employee from one rating bin to
another to change the rating. However, the system will ask you to enter the
name who authorized the change and the reason of changing the rating.
5. Once all rating changes are done, click on the Save button. Only click the Finalize
button if the Calibration session is already done. NOTE: Once you have finalized

the session, the move will automatically move to the next step and no changes in
rating will be entertained.
