Selection Criteria
• Non-degree scholarship program
• Available for any undergraduate major
• Open for undergraduate students from 2nd – 5th semester
• Possess academic, social, leadership skills
• Being active in organizations and/or voluntary works
• Willing to live in a state of USA for 6 months / 1 year (depending on the program duration)

–Always BE ALERT on the marked schedule. Better be IN ADVANCE for every deadline

Essay?
• Your essay is one of several major and crucial aspects of the scholarship assessment.
• Keep revising and revising your essay until you think that your composition is (at least) satisfactory and appealing.
• Make OTHER PEOPLE (especially your lecturers/ those who speak and write English fluently) proofread your essay to perfect every corner of it.

Wrap all your docs in such a way that will ATTRACT the selection panel
In my experience, I wrapped my application package in a brown envelope, then put it in a blue colored plastic folder
During Interview Selection
– Dress to impress!
– Be enthusiastic with your response
– Maintain eye contact
– Provide logical and relevant response to the question, including examples
– Make a powerful closing statement
During Nominee Selection
– Prepare for your iBT TOEFL test
• Expose yourself by as many English as possible (music, movies, and conversation with yourself and peers)
•Work as many TOEFL questions as possible
During THE WAITING MOMENT (the most painful moment I must say)
– Extend your networks with other nominees (sharing contacts/ soc-med accounts)
– Seek for advices from your relatives/ friends
– Always be alert on any emails, especially from AMINEF
During the Scholarship Awarding
– prepare for Medical check-up (funded by awardees)
– prepare for Visa application
– Packing stuffs
– Off to USA!
