Energy is created in a constant form, Faraday gave us the opportunity to grasp this. We choose not to harness this as much as we should.

We waste time consuming energy, instead of saving time creating energy.

Over 40% of the population of Greifswald travel via “fahrrad”. As a society we possess a selfish manner to take the facile option.

Its time to travel further away from this mentality.

75%of people live within 30 minutes of work

24%of commuters do not travel by car

40-50%of all non-walking journeys could be

completed by bicycle without greatly increasing time.

This increase could displace up to one sixth of all car mileage.

OLED technology has been described as the next generation of lighting. It has possibilities to revolutionise the whole concept of lighting and space.

Powered purely from the internal hub dynamo, OLED lighting is ultra thin, lightweight and has a low energy consumption. Tim also houses urban styled rear reflectors to coincide with Road Vehicle Lighting Regulations 1989.

Tim converts to an exercise bike with 5 simple steps. Slide the enclosing door.Twist the roller mechanism feature.Displace the storage locking switch.Rotate storage to fixed position.Lock the front brake.

Page 26: Go Fara

Ensuring resistance on the rear wheel is of clear importance. Without this, the level of activity would be close to redundant.

The maintainable mechanism ensures a moderate intensity level is achieved. Triggered with a simple twist on the frame body, set up could not be easier.

External production partners have been identified to help the Go Fara brand grow for the better.

Use of the Shimano dynamo DH - 3N30 hub compliments the initial idea of power generation to an affordable standard. Additionally The internal nexus 8 speed hub saves space and weight, providing a suitable amount of control for a general commuter cyclist.

Gates Carbon Drive Systems show the future of cycling. Not only looking urban and stylish, belt drives provide a smoother and quieter ride. The inexpensive parts show in depth sustainibility.

Page 31: Go Fara

All components from the cranks to the roller mechanism are fitted with M3 or M6 sized hex bolts. Ensuring maintenance and adjustments are done with the highest level of ease.

Other aspects of maintenance come through snap fittings and removable panels.
