Youthexchange“Theyarehere”willbeorganizedbyNGO"VoVo"fromZagrebanditwilltakeplaceform27.4.2016. till 7.5.2016.onisland of Šolta. It will gather 36participants from 6 countries allovertheEurope.

Main goal is to upgrade, reflectand deepen acknowledge ofyoung people towards

immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers and encourage youth on active participation in way ofintegrationofthemtoeverydaylifewithaccentofpreventiondiscrimination.

Gainedexperienceparticipantswillintheirorganizationimprovequalityaspectoftheirenrolmentinlocalcommunity.

Withthis9-day longyouthexchangeparticipantswillupgradetheirskillsandknowledge in fieldofcommunication,videoediting,photography,flashmob,campaignistotalandmanymore.

Mainmethod used on youth exchange will be non formal education which will be achieved truesimulationsgames, roleplaying,pppresentations, interactivegames, icebreakers,energizers, teambuildingactivities,flashmobetc.

Participantswillunderstandproblemswithwhichrefugee'smigrantsandasylumseekersarefacingand try to find a way how to help them and be active promotor of change in society. Due toimprovement of their skills in this field they will bemore attractive andmore influential in theircommunity,thustheywillbringmoreattentiontoconcerningsocialissues.

Theresultsoftheprojectwillbesharedonsocialmediaplatforms,websitesandduringconcert.AllincomethatwillbecollectedduringconcertwillbetransferredtoCroatianRedCrosshumanitarianorganization.

Accommodation,livingandotherproject/exchangerelatedexpenses:100%fundedbytheEU.Thisincludeseverythingexceptfortravelcosts.


Participationfee:RegardingvisittoSplitandadditionalcoststherewillbe20€participationfeethatwillbereducedfromtravelreimbursement.

Travel (flights, othermeansof transport)expenses are compensated (up to 100%), basedon thedistance from your location of residence to the location of the project. These distances must becalculatedusingthedistancecalculatorsupportedbytheEuropeanCommission.

FirstlyyoushouldfindaflighttoSPLIT(SPU)airport(optionisalsototraveltoZagreb,Zadar,DubrovnikairportfollowedbybustoSplit).Thearrivaldateis27thofApril2016andthedeparturedateis07thofMay2016.IfyouwanttospendmoretimeinCroatiaitispossibletospendmaximum2daysbeforeoraftertheprojectonowncostandbookthetravelticketsaccordingly.

TripfromSplitairporttotheharbortakes45min.Itwillcost30HRKbypublicbus(4euro).Itwilltake45-60min(dependingonferry)toŠoltaandanother30mintothevenueinStomorskabylocalbusfromRogač.Thenameofthemainvenueis:"Villaplaza"anditisinStomorskabythemainbeach.

TRAVELINSTRUCTIONS:FromAirportSplityouhavetotakethebus(airportshuttleorlocalline),itdriveseveryhalfhour.ItisdirectdrivetoSplitMainBusStationintheferryharbor.FromSplitMainBusStationitis100meterdistancetothemainJadrolinijaterminalbuildinginwhichyouwillbuytheferrytickets.

UponarrivinginRogac(Šolta)takethebustoStomorskaandtraveltothelaststation.ThebuswillstopinthebottomoftheharborfromwhereyouwillwalktothemainvenuelocatedontherightsideoftheharborataddressRiva-Pelegrin40(bythebeach).

We will reimburse the travel expenses after training course in accordance with the Erasmus+framework. In order tomake the reimbursement it is compulsory that you have all the necessarydocumentswithyou.Ifyourtravelcostsexceedtheofficiallimits,thereimbursementwillbelimitedto the maximum amount of travel costs allocated for each country. If you fail to provide all thenecessary travel documents, we will be unable to reimburse you. For plane travel, the originaldocumentsthatweneedare:

Rooms:Participantswillshareapartmentswith3-4samesexrooms.Thereisashowerandbedlinenineachapartment.Themainactivityroomisdislocatedfromtheapartmentbuilding.

Food:Organizerswill arrange threemeals perday at local restaurationbusinesses and two coffeebreaksatthevenue.Ifyouhaveallergiesorspecialneeds,informtheorganizers.

All the participants will be expected to be present and active in all activities, unless being ill.Unauthorizedabsencefromtheactivitiesandworkshopswon’tbetolerated.
