GlobalSmart Manual

Global Smart is Global IME Bank’s Mobile Banking Application, developed to improve the experience of our customers. With the advancement of technologies, we are enhancing our banking system to better serve our customers. Global Smart is available on Android and iOS devices.

INTRODUCTION

If you are using Global Smart for the first time, please follow the fol-lowing steps:

Download Mobile Banking Application from your device.

Step 1Click on the “New User” button.

Step 2It will redirect you to the page requesting you to set up login and transaction credentials.

New User Registration

Download “GlobalSmart” mobile application from

your store.

Click on “New User”, it will direct you to Mobile Banking site to create a Mobile Banking account first

Click on “LET’S GET STARTED” to start banking smartly

Step 3Input your Registered Mobile Number (The registered number is the one that you have updated in Global IME Bank).

Step 4Input your Account Number of Global IME Bank.

Step 5Click on “Next” Button.

You will soon receive activation code on your mobile phone to verify your mobile banking.

Step 6Enter the code you have received in SMS.

Step 7Click on Next.

Step 8Set up your login password.

You can create your own password. Login password is required every time you use Global Smart.

Step 9The password must be 8-15 characters and must contain at least 1 number and 1 letter.

Step 10Re-type your password.

Click on “Next” Button.

After you set up your login password, you will be required to set up Transaction PIN by yourself.

Step 11Setup your Transaction PIN. Transaction PIN is required whenever you want to perform certain transactions or pay-ments through Global Smart. Step 12Your Transaction PIN must be of 4 numbersRe-type your Transaction PIN.

Step 13Click on “Finish” button.

After you set up your login password, you will be required to set up your own Transaction PIN

You will be now able to view your account details, transfer money to different bank ac-counts, pay bills, along with other services

Step 13Enter your registered mobile number and Login Password.

Step 14Click on “Login”.

You can now login using your Login Password.

If you do not have access to internet, you can also opt for SMS module of using mobile banking application. Click on SMS button on the top right corner of the landing page to use Global Smart on SMS module.

You can also pay bills of some of the merchants through fonepay before you login.

You can locate the branches and ATMs, know the exchange rates, contact bank and take help by clicking on plus button on lower right corner of your page.

Get updated about the new products and notices of the bank from the highlights section below merchants.

Step 1Click on “I am an existing user” to re-activate your services through the updated app.

Step 1Update Global Smart from your store: Android App on Google PlayAvailable on the iPhone App Store

Already a mobile banking user?

Click on Login by using your old login credentials

Use your current login credentials to login into your account.

Step 1If you have already used Global Smart through Online module, enter your current GPRS Online Login as old password.

Step 1If you have used Global Smart through SMS module only, enter your current MPIN as old password.

Step 2Set new password.

Step 3Re-type your password to confirm.

Step 4Click on “Submit” button.

After completion of the process, you will be notified with success message.

If you have used Global Smart on GPRS module, enter your current Transaction PIN.

View of your Dashboard

Once you have logged in, You will land in your Dashboard Page

Account Activity can be viewed by sliding your finger over the graph

The Bottom half of the page carries the payment sections/merchants.

There is a Menu Bar on the Top Left Corner of the Landing Page.

Your Available Balance can be made visible or hashed just by clicking on the figure.

This page will have the summary of your account with the Graph of the last 30 days and Account Activity

The top right corner of the landing page has a QR sign, which generates your QR code.

This QR code is used in fund transferring to your account. In ward transfer of fund.

Swipe/Slide from Left to Right to switch the screen view to your account information.

My Account Displays the Summery of the account.

Statement, Payment and Fund Transfer are also accessible through this page.

Quick View of Statement: Clicking in the Statement will display your statement for the last one-month.

Payments Clicking the Payments will lead/direct you to payment/Merchant page. The same will be displayed when you select Payment on the landing page.

Swipe/Slide from Right to Left to switch the screen to QR Code Scanner and Make Payments.

This QR Code Scanner can be used to Scan Merchant’s QR code for Payments and also for fund transfer to other users.

Global Smart will allow you to replace your password with your fingerprint

Step 2Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor.

This is done to verify your fingerprint with any one of the fingerprints registered to unlock the device.

Any fingerprint that can unlock this device will be able to login to this app.

Step 1Click “Yes” in the displayed Message. You always have an option not to setup you fin-gerprint as log in option by clicking “Never”. Or you can simply click “Later” to set it up later. This option will appear again or you can go to setting to activate this function.

Step 3You can now use your fingerprint to login

Global Smart will allow you to replace your Transaction PIN with your fingerprint.

Step 1Click “Yes” in the displayed Message. You have an option not to setup you finger-print as Transaction PIN by clicking “NO”. You can letter go to setting to activate this function.

Step 3Enter your transaction PIN

Step 2Click, “Click to set up Transaction Finger-print”

Step 4Place you finger on Fingerprint Sensor.

Any fingerprint that can unlock this device will be able to perform transactions.

Step 5You can now use your fingerprint for future transactions.
