“Anything goes” and “everything happens!”• We watch the Globe on Screen and accept it• Any and most changes taken as

development ??? • Change is a prerequisite of developmet but • All changes ara not necessarily development • Tyes. Time for decision! but who will decide?

• Spaceship called Earth was always a globeThru Globalization it becomes “Global Village”

• Bounds, restrictions. costums are being lifted, Goods, humans, ideas freely circulata-almostEvery one can talk to eveyone else on earth

• “ The end of the world es we know it. Future?• İnformation society will end all conflict and start

the peace and order for globe…We’re told.• We want and have to believe. No option.

• Affluent consumer societies using high technologies deplete and exhausts the Globe.• Media, employing technology , globalize “free market” and

presents international capital as “globalisation!” • Globalisation process serving the capitalist interests

was a “Gross Disappointment” (Stiglitz,Nobel)• Developed World (Business) using Media and high tech,

hide the hardl facts of the W o r l d C l o c k. • Wje are advised solutions are in the teknology.• Meantime we are happy playing with technological toys.• That villages become global is a worldwide illusion.

Wealth or Well being (Survival)• Media stands for wealth, science for Life• Teknology can serve both! Q : Which one? • Right and responsibility rest on mankino!• Q: Who, What, How, When, Where ?• Do Mankind have a common mind, purpose?

kurucu üye olarak çalıştı: nsan ve Kültür.İ • Wilson bursuyla ABD'de, Japon Vakfının bursuyla Tokyo Üniversitesi’nde

araştırmalar yaptı: Japon Kültürü! • 1969'da doçent, 1977'de profesör, 1993'te emekli oldu. • Türk Sosyal Bilimler Derneği Başkanlığı, UNESCO Türkiye Milli

Komisyonu üyeliği, Başbakanlık Kültür Müsteşarlığı ve Cumhurbaşkanlık danışmanlığı gibi görevlerde bulundu.

• Dördü yabancı dillere çevrilmiş 32 kadar kitabı, beş çevrisi, yüzü aşkın araştırma, bildiri ve makalesi yayımlandı.
