$750 + Airfare (approx. $600)


Calendar and Schedule

• Meetings:– Once a month – The entire group– Become biweekly as

the trip gets closer – Learn how to take

blood pressure, temperature, etc.

– Learn about Honduran culture

• Payment:– Installments of about $300

every month until the trip– All funds will be raised on

GB’s fundraising site (completely safe and secure)

– You can raise trip funds from friends, family, IU grants, etc.


Fundraising

• Fundraising will initially be directed towards Medication– Medication for approx. 900 patients during

Brigade– Supplies• Blood Pressure Cuffs• Stethoscopes• Grocery Bags


Fundraising & Commitment

• Canning This Weekend (Fri. & Sat.)– Brothers Bar & Grill– Upstairs Bar– 2 hr. Shifts

• 10pm-12am and 12am-2am

• Dine and Donate Buffa Louies– October 22nd

• Shop for a Cause– Marsh - Date TBD

• Many other Fundraisers


Year Long Activities

• Throughout the Year–Fundraising Events–Promoting IUGMB–Raising Awareness

• You DO NOT have to go on the trip to be Involved


Packing Extravaganza Day

• Pack Medications• Label Medications• Bag Medications • Do other things to Medications• Lunch Pitch-In• 10am-4pm --- Don’t Have to stay entire time• More Days and Info to Come

• Applications due on November 1st, 2010• They will be available on the IUGMB website,
