A) The sequence of the erection for the

container begins with its base plate.

It is the floor of the container, a so called double floor, which contains all fixtures necessary for the erection of the turbine and the generator. This base plate with adequate fixtures enables a transportation with a fork lift.

These fixations are important, because they constitute a rigid connection to the container itself on one side, and on the other side guarantee a firm connection between the engine and the generator, thus enabling a smooth operation.

All supply pipes are also laid in the base plate for the fuel, the cables, the control system and the cable bus, thus protected.

The base plate is then covered. This cover serves as a protection for all pipes and cables and can be used as a floor.

B) The next step is to fix the Generator with the erection fixtures in the base plate.

The generator is a three-phase generator with a

power output of 3.5 MW (an increase of the

capacity is being considered). The tension is

between 4 and 6 KV. The possible number of

revolutions is at 1500 R/min.

Because of the high speed of the turbine, a

gear is placed between the generator and

the turbine.

Due to the reduction of the speed of the

turbine down to the permissible rotations of

the generator, the torque output increases.

C) The turbine being the power engine of the generator, is then erected.

The capacity of the turbine is appr. 5 000 PS/3 650 KW at a speed of appr. 20 000 R/min. The continuous output is 3 200 KW. The shaft to the gear operates on ceramic bearings. The pressure is indicated at 04 bar. The values of the waste gas reach a temperature of 390°C.

The injection system is manufactured by the company Bosch.

A gear is installed between the generator and the turbine, as already mentioned, to balance the different speed frequency of the 2 aggregates. This increases and strengthens the speed torque.At normal operation the turbine has a speed frequency of appr. 18 000 R/min

D) Near the mechanical erection devices installed

on the foundation, there is the fuel tank with a

capacity of appr. 40 000 litres. The fuel is a

methanol-water mixture or an ethanol-water

mixture. It is also possible to use natural gas.

E) The container consists of an insulated sound

absorbing outer shell, sandwich type of

dimensions L 12m B 2.75m H 3m. Exterior

coating according to wish of customer.

Why is this engine so powerful?

The turbine H2X system is by nature so powerful.

The injection system HIGS, patented world wide,

and the special construction and conception of

the combustor chamber upon this turbine guarantee an

usually high power output.

TURBINE H2X INJECTION SYSTEM

Explanation:

Through the patented HIGS Injection System, a new

generation of turbines has been born. The water fuel

mixture is injected into the combustor chamber under

a very high pressure( 173psi). This triggers the ignition

of the mixture through an ignition plug. An explosive

force arises. Compared to the one flame of the

conventional turbine, the H2X System experiences a

double power impact.

As a result the world wide protected H2X Turbine

A comparison between H2X and a Diesel engine reveals.

A Power Plant Container with the H2X System has the

following dimensions. L 12m, W 2,6 m, H 3 m. The weight

is approximately. 15 tons.

In a Power Plant Container with a Diesel Engine of the

same capacity, the Diesel Engine alone would weigh 30

to 35 tons, and measure a lenght of the 6 to 8 m.

Hence unsuitable for a container.

The turbine has a very low noise level (26 db).

In contrast is the diesel engine very noisy (over 100 db).

ADVANTAGE OF THE INSTALLATION

** INSTALLATION:

The container is only connected to the net

coupling point. Following this points we

recommend our customers to lay the cables

underground. So damages due to storm,

hurricane or floods are impossible.

** CONSTRUCTION:

The only civil activity comprises the construction

of a concrete foundation slab, according to data

of the company. No supply roads and no

expensive high voltage over headlines are

needed.

** TRANSPORT:

On trucks, by ship, on trains and in some

countries, if necessary, by a helicopter.

** INTERCONNECTION:

In the cities with more than one power container,

the demand for electricity is controlled by a rating

communication equipment. In case of a

breakdown of one container, the loss is

equalized by this equipment.

NO MORE BLACK OUT

** NOISE:To the construction of the container wall

which is isolated against head and

noise, the outside perceptible noise level

is very low therefore, 26 db.

** ENVIRONMENT:

Though the use of ethanol-water and methanol-

water mixture, there is no emission of pollutants

following combustion. This means that the power

plant container is clean and can be placed

anywhere, even in front of the house door.
