Glidevale profile dedicated In-line tileslate and ridge ventilators are designed

to ventilate through the roof slope and forman integral part of the roof covering.

The slate and tile ventilators can be used atlow level or high level where the roofconstruction does not allow eaves or ridgeventilators to be used such as wherecompartment walls or fire break wallsobstruct airflow. They are also used incomplex roof shapes where effective cross-ventilation is not possible.

The In-line ridge ventilators are used atintervals with proprietary ridge tiles, onbedded and many dry ridge systems. Thewhole In-line range can also be used as soilvent pipe or mechanical extract terminalswith separately supplied accessories.

Composition, ManufactureManufactured from ABS and polypropylenematerial for a high quality finish and robustconstruction. All exposed surfaces arecoated with a durable water based colourblended surface treatment. This surfacetreatment has been used on all GlidevaleVentilators for over 20 years, and after thistime shows only a marginal lightening ofshade which is usually counteracted by theeffect of atmospheric pollution on the roofcovering itself. All tile and ridge ventilatorshave silica sand entrained in the multi coatcoating. Slate ventilators have a smoothfinish.

● Profile matched and colour blended in with adjacent slates, tiles and ridges as standard, making the ventilators almost indiscernible once installed.

● Can be installed wherever they are required as part of the normal roofing process.

● High nett free ventilation area and low airflow resistance allow for an optimum spacing to avoid stagnant air pockets.

● Integral or supplied extension sleeves ensure a clear air path from the roof void to the outside to meet the design requirements of BS 5250.

● Integral 4mm large insect ingress screen.

DescriptionGlidevale In-line ridge ventilators have been designed toprovide an aesthetic and unobtrusive solution to roofventilation at ridge level.

● Continuous, clean, unbroken ridge line with colour-match option.

● 4mm large insect screen.

● Integral stainless steel fixing wires and end sockets restrain the ridge vent for maximum wind uplift resistance.

● Driving rain resistant - by discharging wind-driven rain via baffles concealed below the ridge surface.

● Ventilation slots on each side of vent, making them indistinguishable from standard ridge tiles once installed.

● Condensation grooves on upper surface which divert any condensate which may form on the underside of the vent.

● Nail holes - making it easy to fit.
