Glenrock Turbines Various wind plants around Glenrock, Wyoming. While more than one wind plant is said to exist (Top of the World, Camphill owned by Duke Energy and 7 Mile Hill and Rolling Hills owned by Pacificorp), the plants run together and cover the countryside. Some are partially located on the old Glenrock Coal mine (very partially) as seen in the first slide. The turbines cover far more area than the coal mine did. As the last two slides show, there is a bentonite mine and oil pump jack in the area also.
