WE’RE ON THE WEB!

STRANGER DANGER The school have been approached by Penrith police in relation to an incident in which two of our students were followed home after school by a man in a black hooded jacket. We emphasise to parents that they discuss the issue of stranger danger with their children and to reinforce walking home by the most direct route after school and walking to and from school, wherever possible, in groups. Teachers will again be discussing with children the issue of “stranger danger” and how to react in a situation where they feel uncomfortable or threatened.

ANTI-BULLYING POLICY

The School has over the last few weeks updated the Anti-Bullying Policy. The brochure distributed with this newsletter not only outlines the School’s approach to dealing with bullying and harassment but also outlines the effect of the social network and how it can be used in a negative fashion to damage the self esteem of students. The brochure also includes handy hints on how parents can deal with all forms of bullying.

STUDENTS NOT RETURNING IN 2012
