She kept us informed of her search progress every couple of days. Ms. Soriano’s efficient and thorough knowledge of the process made us get the car in one hour and 46 minutes flat - including getting the loan from the Credit Union). GLENDALE AREA WEALTH MANAGEMENT
Real estate prices have rebounded and if you have the remodeling itch, let us help you scratch it. Your credit union has a variety of Real Estate Loan products to fit your needs.
HELOC (Home Equity Line of Credit) – This is an open-ended line of credit. It is very easy to use with rates starting at 3.75% (4.266% APR). This rate is variable and will increase when market rates go higher. You only pay interest on the outstanding balance and you can pay off and reuse when the need arises.
Second Trust Deed – If you are looking for a fixed rate and a fixed term, then getting a second trust deed on your home may be a better fit. We have terms from 5 to 15 years and rates start from 3.75% (4.266 APR. Longer terms, higher LTV (Loan to Value) and credit quality will all effect the rate.)
First Trust Deed – Another option is to refinance the first mortgage and pull cash out to do that remodeling project or simplify your current financial situation. Your credit union has great rates for 30-year mortgages along with a 7 year ARM (Adjustable Rate Mortgage) for borrowers who have special needs. We have no policy limit on the maximum loan amount as we are here to serve our members.

MESSAGE FROM THE CEO
If you are like most Americans, you now have a very good chance that your personal information has been compromised. I have been a victim of Identify theft. I was lucky enough to catch it early and put the appropriate warnings with the credit bureaus. Initially, I felt violated. It was a pretty tangled mess, but with a little persistence and time, I untangled the situation and feel pretty good about it now.
My advice? You can receive a free credit report from www.AnnualCreditRe-port.com. Review your credit report for errors or any suspicious activity. Close unneeded credit. This will not be a one-time event, but something that you will need to do on a continual basis. Vigilance, vigilance, vigilance. With one of the major credit bureaus getting hacked, is there any hope for the rest of us? Your credit union generally does not use Equifax for our credit decisioning. When you apply for credit, we use Experian for our credit checking needs. However, we follow industry standard and pull credit from all three bureaus when we do a real estate loan. We also report to all three credit bureaus.
Holiday Loan Checks. Put a Jingle in Your Pocket! The credit union will be doing its popular holiday loan check mail-ing again this year. For the many who qualify, you will be receiving your holiday check mid-November. Just in time for the holiday shopping season.
EMV Cards. GASCU is happy to announce the rollout of our new enhanced chip cards. These credit and debit cards will come with BIG security measures in a small chip. You will need to activate your new card as soon as you get it. Call 800-411-6390 or visit www.activatemycards.com to activate and pick your own Personal Identification Number (PIN). This will allow you to choose your own PIN immediately and not have to worry about a PIN mailer getting lost or delayed. Please active your card when received as we will be deactivating you current card within 30 days of receiving your new card, for security purposes.
Postal Branch. Our downstairs branch in the Glendale Post Office (313 E Broadway) will be changing hours. The new hours will be Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. For services outside these hours, please feel free to visit our Main Branch at 1800 Broadview Drive in Montrose. Our main branch hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm weekdays and 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Wednesdays.
