This is our 23rd year of Glasgow Doors Open Day and we have gained access for you into some of Glasgow’s most exciting buildings, along with a week full of talks, walks and events.

From Monday 10th until Friday 14th, talks, events and seminars will be taking place. During the weekend of Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th you can see 100 buildings, and join over 50 walks, tours, talks and events all completely FREE! We have even found 24 NEW venues, including the recently refurbished Maryhill Burgh Halls!

Scotland’s first, purpose-built synagogue, is the home of the

One of the UK's most successful inde-pendent, specialist cinemas. Its

legendary predecessor, the Cosmo, opened in 1939 in this modernist European building (with clear Dutch influences) which still boasts much of its Art Deco interior. Behind the scenes tours are free but ticketed on a first-come basis and take place every 30 minutes.Sunday 10am-2pm

Gothic church accommodating over 1,000. The nave is 112ft long and 40ft wide. The spire is 220ft high, with pinnacles and belfry stage, a niche and a canopy containing a statue of St. Columba. Featuring the Classical-inspired architecture of Alexander

In 1867, the first theatre on this site was the Royal Colosseum and Opera House. The auditorium was rebuilt twice by Charles John Phipps following fires in 1879 and 1895. Use of Glasgow’s Trades Hall dates back to 1794 as a meeting place for
