ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT (III) WP3-Completion of the production and installation of 100 OBUs

-Management of OBUs stock storage and shipment to the Netherlands

-Liaison and coordination with technical services/garages in the Netherlands (through ARVAL) for installation and maintenance of 100 OBUs in ARVAL’s customers’ vehicles.

-Closure of activities of WP3.1 – Trials infrastructure provision,

-Work to minimize other identified risks related to the execution of trials

-Completion of the customization of the SW platforms used to support the services trialled in GINA

-Completion of the adjustments necessary in the hub (platform) to be used for analysis

-Adjustments of the geo-objects applicable in the exhaustive trials (vehicle I and vehicle II) and the end2end trials

-Launch of WP3.2.2 – Trials execution, completing the exhaustive trials and progressing according to schedule for the end2end trials.

-Exhaustive trial campaign (vehicle II –GMV), during a period of 4 weeks (March-April 2010)

-Exhaustive trial campaign (vehicle I – Navteq), which is still on-going

-Launch of WP3.2.3 Trials evaluation and reporting and provisioning of results of analysis as soon as they start to be available

-Analysis of data collected during exhaustive trial campaign (vehicle II- GMV) and preliminary results

-Abstracts / articles written for different events and specialized media. Project has been presented in different events and fora

- The project website has been regularly updated

-Intensification of efforts in order to organise Workshop#1. It has been postponed until late September or October. The audience has already been agreed between the GSA and GINA project and the invitations have been circulated. Work on the organization of the workshop is on-going.

-Meeting with the Stockholm Group (15th April 2010), in which it was possible to present different aspects of the use of EGNOS for RUC and in particular, many details of the GINA project.

-First activities to elaborate a detailed Business and Exploitation Plan (WP4.2). In particular, work to define the questionnaires to collect feedback from drivers according to the specific sample finally participating in the trials is being carried out.
