Being the coordinator, I was responsible of the overall project coordination, office administration, logistics, client identification, communication between the local WWFtF clients, Land O’Lakes Arden Hills Office, USAID Office in Manila and various local organizations, follow-up visits with program recipients, program impact assessment, WWFtF clients needs assessment, managing office expenses, and writing quarterly and impact reports on program progress. I also worked closely with the volunteer-consultants gaining a hands-on experience with the technical assistance being served to the clients. Technical assistance extended by the program were on beef cattle production, dairy cattle production, cattle feedlot fattening operation, pork/swine production, water buffalo production, feed milling, pasture and forage development, farm mechanization, waste management, plant sanitation, meat processing, animal product and by-product development, marketing, product development and business plan preparation.

In-Country Coordinator, Cooperative Development Program (CDP) of the Federation of Cattle Raisers Associations of the Philippines and Land O’Lakes International, Inc. A Project funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The Cooperative Development Program was designed to extend technical assistance through training to the agricultural-based cooperatives in Mindanao. The training includes parliamentary procedures, basic principles and practices for cooperatives – management, membership recruitment and retention, planning and extension service.

Human Resources Department. This is the department where I spent most of my time. These were my responsibilities: give weekly assignment to other interns, perform the basic duties of HR personnel such as recruitment, selection, hiring, and distribute HR notices to all the employees the under the supervision of the HR director. Laundry Department. Responsible for washing, ironing and folding the linens and clothes of the guests.

Room Service Kitchen. Responsible in preparing food ordered from the rooms under the supervision of the room service chef.

COURSES TAUGHT HMS 589.001: Thesis Research (3 credits; Fall 2017) This course is designed to be taken by thesis-bound graduate students in the School of Human Sciences, prior to the thesis writing course (HMS 590). During the course, students will form their thesis committee, design the thesis project, develop the literature review and methodology sections of the thesis, and complete various other steps toward the goal of completing the thesis. The thesis will be used for assessment purposes for the School of Human Sciences. HMS 575.002: Advanced Graduate Studies (3 credits; Summer II 2018) Individual instruction. Prerequisite: School approval. (One to three credit hours). HMS 485.001: Management of the Diverse Hospitality Workforce (3 credits; Spring 2019) The course will explore diversity. Emphasis will be placed on the implications of operating a hospitality business and interactions among supervisors, employees, guests, and owners within the industry.

Coordination of resources in establishing policy, supervision and management, and decision making in the delivery of hospitality services. HMS 478.002: Special Topic: Special Events Production (3 credits; Spring 2018) In-depth study of selected topics within the discipline of human sciences. The management and operation of events, design, marketing, and promotion efforts. Identifying sponsors, marketing to attendees, exhibitors, and other participants. Prerequisite: school approval. HMS 478.001: Special Topic: Meetings, Events, Expositions & Technology (3 credits; Fall 2017) In-depth study of selected topics within the discipline of human sciences. This course will introduce students to those concepts and topics necessary for the comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of the meetings, events, expositions and event technology industries. The course will review the roles of the organizations and people involved in the businesses that comprise the MEET industry. In addition, this course will include topics that will prepare the students to be successful in getting their Meeting and Event Technology Certification. This certificate program has been developed for students who are currently practicing or anticipating careers in meeting or event management. The certificate is designed to provide both training and education in meeting and event technology, as well as meeting planning. Prerequisite: school approval. attitudes, and feelings concerning smoking bans in the State of Oklahoma. Able to find a free Web server for the FFP Web survey.

▪ Created and developed the Web survey using FrontPage 2000 for the Study of the Interest in Family Financial Planning. The study was conducted for the Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance.

▪ Developed a Web survey using FrontPage 2000 web application software. ▪ Assisted the ARS staff in finding a Web server with FrontPage extensions in order to upload or

publish the CHES scholarship Web page. DASNR through the office of Mr. Dwayne Hunter granted us a free server space with FrontPage extensions to host the ARS scholarship web site created in FrontPage. I coordinated the meeting between CHES ARS and DASNR personnel. The meeting was attended by Lynn Smith, Kevin Lampert, Mandi Williams, Dwayne Hunter, and Kevin MacAbee.

▪ Assisted the Academic and Research Services in creating the CHES Scholarship Web page and Web site. The CHES Web Page was created in FrontPage 2000.

This is a fund-raising event of the school to raise scholarship funds for the HRA students. January 10, 2002, Proposal Development Workshop, Sponsored by the Oklahoma EPSCoR. This program is designed for faculty, post docs and graduate students who are interested in enhancing their proposal writing skills. There were two parts to the program. The presentations were about preparing fundable proposals, as well as National Science Foundation (NSF) instrumentation proposals in biological and chemical areas. An overview of the NSF CAREER program for all NSF directorates was also discussed. Finally, an Oklahoma researcher shared the process she went through in preparing a successfully funded CAREER proposal.
