Section 1

The GIC Rates page is accessed on WealthLink, by clicking on “Wealth Management” from the

home page.

From the left column menu, select “Products”, then “GICs”.

Select “View Rates” from the GICs drill down options.

Section 2

The GIC rate information is divided into two tabs. “Home”, which lists rates for all banks affiliated

with (and including) Scotiabank, and “All rates”, which lists rates for all other issuers.

Both tabs contain a series of search filters: “Cashable”, “Short Term”, “Long Term”, as well as

an expandable search criteria section, “Show Search Filters”.

The expanded search filter view allows users to enter further search criteria.

From the Home tab, users can click on the issuer name, and will be directed to the issuer

website.

Section 3

Users can modify the number of results displayed per page (10, 25, 50,100) on the right hand

side of the rates table.

Section 4

Users may export the GIC Rates information into a PDF document by clicking on the PDF

button on the right hand side of the rates table.

The PDF will be generated into the following format, and the user may save, print, or close the

PDF.
