Please attach two lesson plans for classes you have taught, stating level and aims. One plan should be for lexis or structure and the other to teach skills (reading, writing, speaking or listening). You should include cover sheets profiling the class and stating overall aims and anticipated problems and solutions. The procedure should set out how the lesson is taught and have aims, timings and interaction patterns for each stage. You need enough detail for a thinking teacher to be able to reconstruct the lesson. Attach a copy of any materials you used in the lesson. Please also send us your own written evaluation of the effectiveness of the lessons you have described, with particular reference to strengths and weaknesses in your planning and teaching. In total you will need 400-500 words for each lesson plan. Please also add a brief list of published materials you have used or are very familiar with (coursebooks, supplementary books and other materials).
