movement and also

the architect of a

form of civil

disobedience that

would influence the

world.

About him..

And he He was born on ( October 2 in 1869 ).

Studied law in London-England then he returned home. He advocated for Indians' rights in India & South Africa , he became a leader of India's independence movement against the British

occupation .

Ghandi had followed a way which was (Satyagraha) and it’s stand

of -: 1 -Civil Disobedience .

2 -Salt March . 3 -Fasting.

4 -Accepted the prison to take your rights .

5 -Boycott the English goods.

1 -His birthday, 2nd October, is celebrated as a National Holiday in India every year.

2 -Although Gandhi was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize five times, he never received it. . 3- ‘Mahatma’ (meaning ‘Great Soul’)4- In the famous Salt March of April-May 1930, thousands of Indians followed Gandhi from Ahmadabad to the Arabian Sea. The resulted was arrest of nearly 60,000 people, including Gandhi himself.
