In my

eyes

While founded in science Medicine remains an art and while I am good at teaching the scientific principles to my students I have failed miserably in fostering the notion of Medicine as a creative discipline. By educating my medical students to be more receptive to creative input and encouraging innovative thinking, I hope to prevent them from being stifled by the repetition and dogma that prevails in today’s health care system.

I realize this is a class taught a Stanford, but remember Luck came from Houston!

I love Texas & the Aggies, but not as much as Japan or Jesus; so currently my environment consists of Aggieland. It has taught me to be a life long learner.
