Getting Things Done I’m glad that this year’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget includes increased funding to fill potholes, pave streets, build additional sidewalks, and provide infrastructure improvements for residents and families who live in my district. The FY 2019 budget totals $553 million for CIP projects, which includes several projects in Council District 4, please see below: $8,380,251 for Chollas Building to construct two new buildings, one two-story building for administration staff and one-story maintenance shop in the Chollas Operations Yard $900,000 for Streamview Drive Improvements Phase 2 to reduce excessive speeds, increase safety, and enhance visual impact $350,000 for Chollas Lake Improvements to provide electricity to the facility and allow for accessibility upgrades $175,000 for Marie Widman Memorial Park Security Lighting Upgrades which includes additional lighting with energy sufficient fixtures $70,000 for Skyline Hills Community Park Security Lighting Upgrade for additional lighting with energy efficient fixtures $60,000 for Encanto Community Park Security Lighting Upgrades for improvements of existing lighting and installation of new lighting Council President Myrtle Cole Secures Increased Funding for Capital Improvement Projects in Council District 4
