It enables IT administrators to create and deliver workspaces with multiple Citrix services, all from one manage- ment console. After you sign in for the first time, you’ll have a chance to explore what Workspace Cloud is all about. Once you're finished exploring, click on Publish. Click on View workspaces. Citrix has set up three regions to deliver the preconfig- ured services. Select the geographic region closest to your subscribers. You can choose only one region. Next, you’ll be directed to the Workspaces page. We’ve designed a workspace for you to try and publish. Click on the workspace to get started. You can explore the different services that make up the work- space. When you’re ready, you can add people to this workspace. Click on Subscribers. Once you’ve added your subscribers (you don’t need to add them all at once), you need to publish the workspace. An email will be sent to your subscribers letting them know that their workspace is ready. Click Publish. Adding Subscribers: You can add up to five people to try the preconfigured workspace. We’ve added your name so you can see what your subscribers will experience. © 2015 Citrix Systems, Inc. Get to know Citrix Workspace Cloud Multiple Services Getting Started with Citrix Workspace Cloud This guide will help you understand the key concepts of Workspace Cloud and walk you through the Test Drive experience. What is Citrix Workspace Cloud? What is the management console? The management console is an interface that allows you to provision workloads from any device. From here, you can add resource locations, download the Workspace Cloud Connector and set up your services. Create workspaces with multiple services, and publish with one click. How do services work with Workspace Cloud? Workspace Cloud currently offers three areas of service: Apps and Desktops, Mobility Management, and Secure Documents. Set up these services within Workspace Cloud, and create workspaces that will include a collection of tools that are specific to the needs of your users and groups. Let's get started! 1 2 3 4 5 Your subscribers (and you) will receive an email (it will look similar to the image above) on how to access their new mobile workspaces on any device. 6 We’ve set up your subscribers with a user name and password. All they’ll need to do is click on the appropriate link within the email, and they’re ready to get started. In this example, we're using Citrix Receiver for desktops. Your subscribers will enter their user name and password and click Log on. 7 The apps from the preconfigured workspace are now available to your subscribers. 8 Congratulations! You've published your first workspace with Workspace Cloud. How long does the Test Drive take to complete? The Test Drive is a fast and simple tutorial of the actual process of publishing a workspace. It was built to give you an idea of how the management console will work and give your end users the experience of receiving a workspace. It should only take about 10 to 15 minutes to publish your first workspace with predefined services. Who are my subscribers, and what will they receive? Your subscribers are the people who will be receiving the workspace. They are your end users. As soon as you click Publish, your subscribers receive an email letting them know that their workspace is ready. Once they click View your workspace, our Receiver interface will open for them to sign in. Their preconfigured workspace will include Worx apps, mobile apps, and ShareFile. The Workspace Cloud platform does not store sensitive informa- tion. It retrieves information, such as administrator passwords, on demand, by explicitly prompting the administrator. There is no data-at-rest that is sensitive or encrypted, so you don't need to worry about managing keys. For data-in-flight, Citrix uses industry standard TLS 1.2 with the strongest cipher suites.
