But I want to focus on some of changes that you guys have noticed since we started: more energy and stamina not as tired during the day less hungry and more able to control portion sizes more motivation to do other things Weekly Goals CONTEST!!! Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time. - Thomas Edison These small victories might seem insubstantial compared to the looming and intimidating fitness goals we’ve set for ourselves, but it’s so important to remember that our lives are improving, even if it’s only incremental. Our new habits are also contagious as David has joined the group! Because everyone’s feeling a little frustrated and unmotivated lately, I have come up with an idea for a contest to help us keep at it. Up for grabs is a $15 gift certificate to a place of your choosing (and if I win I’ll get myself an ebook). So here’s what you need to do to win: 1. Maintain a food diary for the next three weeks. 2. Cook or eat at least one dinner featuring a vegetable or fruit you’ve never tried before, photograph it, and send the picture to everyone else. 3. Try one new thing in your fitness routine, whether it’s a new activity, setting a regular schedule - the skies the limit. Write a paragraph about it for the newsletter. 4. Maintain an excercise diary for the next three weeks. 5. Create a Top 10 workout songlist and share it in the newsletter. Anyone who completes all of these (and can prove it) will get a certificate on the final day of the contest, Monday, November 26th.

CONTEST!!!

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time. - Thomas Edison

These small victories might seem insubstantial compared to the looming and intimidating fitness goals we’ve set for ourselves, but it’s so important to remember that our lives are improving, even if it’s only incremental.

So here’s what you need to do to win:

1. Maintain a food diary for the next three weeks. 2. Cook or eat at least one dinner featuring a vegetable or fruit you’ve never tried before, photograph it, and send the picture to everyone else.3. Try one new thing in your fitness routine, whether it’s a new activity, setting a regular schedule - the skies the limit. Write a paragraph about it for the newsletter.4. Maintain an excercise diary for the next three weeks.5. Create a Top 10 workout songlist and share it in the newsletter.

Anyone who completes all of these (and can prove it) will get a certificate on the final dayof the contest, Monday, November 26th.
