Female swim instructors will provide support and guidance for participants to feel comfortable and learn to be confident in the water. This program emphasizes progressions with assistance from the swim instructor eventually leading to an unassisted, successful completion of the water skill. The Department of Athletics & Recreation offers a variety of programming to support self-identifying females & trans women of all fitness levels. Our programs are designed to ensure that there is an entry point for individuals of all skill levels and abilities. For the Winter term, all registered programs will begin the week of January 16th. There will be no classes during the February 20-24th reading week. Our programs are open to U of T students, UTSC staff and faculty with a TPASC membership. No experience is necessary! Nine week courses cost $30 for 1 hour classes and $40 for 1.5 hour classes (plus HST). The following classes are for self-identifying females only. Please visit our website to see a complete listing of our registered programs. Registration can be done online or in person at the TPASC Registration Desk.

SELF DEFENSE (Women Only)Mondays, 5:30-6:30pm #42984This is an empowering and fun program taught by NCCP Judo Ontario Instructors. You will learn safety strategies that cover awareness, avoidance, verbal self defense and more.

The UTSC Interhouse Leagues are student run leagues that allow UTSC students, alumni, and faculty & staff who have obtained a TPASC membership to participate in a variety of sports.
