I t is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerry Molloy. He leaves behind to celebrate his life and grieve his loss, his loving wife Diane, his children; Teresa(Dave) van Kampen, Mary(Steve) Foster, Michelle Schwarz, Elaine McDonald, Anne-Marie Molloy and Larry Molloy. He is also survived by his 28 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and his sister Eileen. He was predeceased by his infant sons Daniel and Gerard; his grandsons Matthew, Thomas and Anthony; his parents Helen and William; and his brothers Desmond, Bill and Adrian. Gerry arrived in Canada in 1953 and spent his career in the oil and gas sector employed by Texaco Canada Inc. and Esso. After he retired, he devoted 15 years working as a pastoral care volunteer and coordinator at the Rockyview Hospital. He died peacefully surrounded by family and surely hearing the Good Lord calling to him “Well done good and faithful servant. Now enter into your Father’s House”.
