Approximately two-thirds of the top international fairs take place in Germany. This includes 130 till 150 international and national specialized fairs annually.

Known as the “capital of fairs”, Germany lies in the heart of Europe, in the centre of the European home market.

In the year 2002 totalling 1.200 billion EUR in imports and exports, Germany is one of the leading economic countries in the world. This can be seen very clearly at the fairs hosted throughout the country.
