Germany’s Activities

• The Black Forest: great Golf & pure Mountain Air

Golf has been played in Freudenstadt since 1929 when the 18-hole course opened at the town golf club. Variety is the hallmark of both the greens and the greenery, while pure mountain air and the beneficial climate help you relax on the fairways. Afterwards, enjoy international cuisine and Black Forest specialities in the popular restaurant run by Oskar Buchwald.

Heidelberg Old City

• Located in the Neckar river valley, Heidelburg is one Germany’s most popular tourist destinations. During WWII, the city was almost completely spared by allied bombings which destroyed most of Germany’s larger inner cities. As a result, Heidelberg has retained its baroque charm of narrow streets, picturesque houses and the famous Heidelberg Castle.

Germans Climate

• Germany's climate is moderate and is generally without sustained periods of cold or heat. Northwestern and coastal Germany have a maritime climate caused by warm westerly winds from the North Sea; the climate is characterized by warm summers and mild cloudy winters. Farther inland, the climate is continental, marked by greater diurnal and seasonal variations in temperature, with warmer summers and colder winters.
